SHOP 'n SAVE — Local services in Cumberland Township

This is pretty much one of the very few stores that is less then half hr plus drive from me so I am limited on where I can get certain items such as produce and fresh meats. This place has very limited selection of produce so it sucks and same for the meat selection. Almost always when I go to checkout there is only one MAYBE two registers open and lines all the way to the aisles and very irritated customers. One cashier will talk and talk to everyone and totally forget to ring u up or is extremely slow and holds everything up. When she works all the repeat customers know this and will stand in another line no matter how many customers there are ahead of them. I even seen her line completely empty while other line backed up due to the fact she rather talk to u then check u out. I don't mind talking to the cashier at all but this cashier forgets she is ringing u out and she...

I don't typically go here unless I have to get something quickly. Shop n Save has VERY high prices. Produce is never fresh, and their meat products aren't great either. They have a decent selection, but as I said, it's just expensive. They usually only have 1-2 checkout lanes open, and most of the time it's one girl who takes her good old time scanning and bagging groceries. She stops to talk, and moves slower than a sloth, creating quite a large line because she feels the need to tell every customer 10 stories.

Wanted to update this review (5/14/24), as I purchased juice the other day (5/5/24) that was expired in OCTOBER 2022. It was V8 Carrot and Ginger juice. I was just in there and a 15 year old acted like he did not want to wait on me. I spoke to Bonnie the Mgr. She said oh he is only 15 years old. I don't care how old he is . 1 he should appreciate his job. He His name was Kyle. Said I don't Care let them fire me. If I wanted to speak to the Mgr about his conduct.
