Firstly, this is NOT the ONLY grocery store in Blakely. There is a Harvey's though it to is way overpriced. As for the Pig... most staff are polite, very nice, there are those however who act like they have no clue. The produce section was the main reason I shopped here. At one time not so long ago it was taken care of but more often now the produce is not nearly as fresh... they charge the same price for obviously older product that is mixed together with the new AND you must keep a strict eye on the prices when checking out!!!! I cannot tell you how many times the display says a lower price and then go to check out it rings up as much as $1-$3 higher. NOT COOL! Don't care how nice the whole place is. That too me it's a sneaky way of stealing because noone will notice... right? Or because the newer staff is too lazy to do the job correctly. PS. They are not understaffed like Walmart and I expect Walmart to be crooked. I really don't think it's so much them being deceitful but really about a sorry attitude towards their...

Piggly Wiggley is pricey. I had to ask the cashier if they had any bag boys. I was having to do everything myself. There were several cashiers up front just standing. The cashiers had attitudes. I bought over $100 in groceries. I started putting my groceries inthe cart. An finally a bag boy come. I am a heart patient. With an ICD. An 5 stents. Today medically for me wasn't a good day. It was like stepping back in time when I walked through the doors. I distinctly remember having these store in north Florida when I was younger. I felt a wave of nostalgia. The store was clean and had neutral smell. The prices seemed to be what I would pay at a Winn Dixie. Shelves were stocked and the meat I bought was the same price it would have been at home. It helped create some fantastic tacos. The staff were friendly and helpful. All of them that I saw were wearing masks...
