JNL nails — Local services in Cypress

Very unsatisfied with their quality and customer service. I got my nails done Saturday 12/3. I wanted almond shaped nails with black french tips. Once the acrylic was on me she let me know how the black would be most of my nails and I didn’t like the way it would look. I ended up going with a white and a powder to give them a pearl effect. It was an up charge too just for the powder. I didn’t like the width of them. They were chunky and not cleaned up well. I had been there for two hours already and had an event I had to rush to. I called this morning 12/5 and luci answered (she also was the one who did my nails). She was not helpful at all and kept telling me there was nothing she could do. She said that it had been too much time since the appointment which didn’t make sense because I went Saturday and on Sundays they’re closed and there’s no way to contact them. Luci seemed annoyed and like she didn’t care for ruining my nails. I am very disappointed with her customer service and her attitude towards my un satisfaction in their quality. Ultimately it is safe to say I will not be returning since their quality of nails and customer service is horrible. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be unsatisfied and hung up on your face when calling to ask what can be done to fix the nails...

Well, how shall I begin? The salon was clean. I was greeted right away. I was a "walk- in" for a pedicure. It was busy, but I was seated right away and there was an idle technician that started on me. The pricing on the pedicure list were very reasonable. I don't remember the exact name but it was $53. Supposed to last about 75 minutes with soak, sugar scrub, paraffin, lotion and hot stone massage, heel and foot callous removal and usual toenail and cuticle trim. I was there less than an hour. The even though I had my Capri pants legs pushed above my knees, the sugar scrub was smeared on the bottom edge. The technician mostly did the top of my legs, only a couple of swipes on the back of my calves. Don't get me started on the callous removal, or lack thereof. I still had paraffin on my feet when I got home. My toenails were not clipped short enough. I had to remind her to take ALL the previous polish off before starting to use the new polish (I brought my own color). She said, "Glad you reminded me". I'm not sure if the technician was new, inexperienced in pedicures, or if that's how it's done at this salon. If I was rating just the technician it would be one star. Not worth the money. Went in and sat right down. The lady who did my nails was super nice. She did not rush and filed the old powder color down better than anywhere I have ever been. I love that she did not make my nails super thick so they look more natural. The younger girl painted my nieces nails and was super sweet to her. I always appreciate a place that treats her good and not like she is a bother. I did also get my eyebrows waxed. I usually break out in hives for a bit after this process but I didn't get a single one this time. I will...
