If we're to have faulty a battery that was purchased 5 months ago like me and it had a two year
warranty on it , so you wouldn't be blindsided like I was .There policy is you bring the battery back to
the store of purchased, and leave it for 24 hours so they can try to change it to see if it is really dead.
I own a 12 volt battery load tester due to the fact I have 3 trucks ,trackhoe, tractor, dump trailer that uses
a battery , toy hauler camper, 3 atv , golf cart ,2 generators, my wife's car and the whole reason for
this review my Harley Davidson, btw stock battery lasted over 10 years. So to keep up with this fleet
I purchased a 12 volt battery load tester. I run a test on the battery it went to low ,when I pushed the
load switch it went to 4-5 volts ( DOA) when I bought it in the man explained the policy to me, I live a
Good 20 miles away so 80 miles back and forth. Now just think if you're a military wife with 4 children
and just moved here and your husband is on deployment in the military, your battery has the same
problem as mine . The nice man next door give you a jump to get to the store batteries plus bulbs to
have it replaced. The children have been fighting with on another one has to go to the restroom 3 are
screaming I'm hungry . You go in side and told you have to leave the dead battery with them so they
can make sure it's really dead. But you say I've only had the battery for 5 months, and it has a two year
warranty on it !! You now find out ( Lady the policy is to leave the battery here for 24 hours ) I'm sure
she would even some harsher feelings then me , but when she ordered it on line she saved $10.00.
now cab fares 30 miles back home and 30 back to the store the next day now this $ 10.00 was it
Really worth it for her? It wasn't for me now I have to spend way more then$10.00 in fuel and another
two hours the next day. All I'm stating are the facts and when the man check it at the store the 12 volt
Battery only had 4 volts were I went to school that means 8...
Read moreTold the gentlemen in the store that my phone kept going in and out of charge, and that all I NEEDED was a charging port replacement. Stated we had coupons for the screen repair (on my father's phone, and a 50% off battery replacement), but NEVER ONCE asked for the battery to be replaced. As soon as my Father's screen was replaced, one of the gentlemen started on mine. first off joking about a screw missing, then proceeded to bend back the battery to take it off. (I thought this was part of the process since I have never used this store). After he was done, he kept saying it won't turn on, (Oh, also stated he "Tried 4 different screens",) to get it to turn on..... I NEVER ASKED FOR A SCREEN REPLACEMENT. Then was told that I needed to leave it over night when they said it would be done "by 2" that same day. I didn't have a problem with leaving it as long as it all was fixed. Call the next morning around 10 to check the status. A new employee picked up and said they tried 4 more screens that morning and they were still working on it. Tried 4 different batteries..... They finally at a little after Noon said it was ready. But when I picked up the phone, the new employee said that he's "seen it before" and it was a "software problem", with my phone dimming at the top right corner..... So to conclude the horrible experience, I was over charged on the charging port, and charged for a new battery that I never once said I needed... Wasted $125 to pick up a phone in worse condition than when I...
Read moreThis place is horrible. Do not waste your money here, because they try their hardest to weasel out of their warranty.
I have a marine deep cycle battery that is a few months old that stopped taking a charge. It stays on minnikota trickle charger, DESIGNED for trolling motors, when not being used. The battery stopped taking a charge after a few times of use. I took the battery into the store to get it replaced under warranty (Saturday). They told me that since it was under 8 volts, it was my fault and neglect. THE BATTERY WONT TAKE A CHARGE!!!!!! So not covered by warranty.
So then they say they'll put it on their charger to see if they can't get it up to the 10v it has to be at to be covered by warranty, and they'll call me in 1-4 hours because that's how long it takes them to charge. 24 HOURS LATER (Sunday). I call them back to see the status of my battery. He says that it is STILL at 25% (which is what it was at when I brought it there) but at 10V instead of 8V. So now the battery is "recoverable"...and even though it is now within the warranty window they STILL WON'T REPLACE IT!!!!
You won't have this problem at Walmart.
Don't buy anything from this store, who refuses to honor a warranty on a battery that is only a few months old. They'll do the...
