I bought a wedding ring set. Was told the 1.35 carat diamond was an S diamond. The ring was perfect. Left it for sizing. The ring I got after sizing had a different diamond in the solitaire. It looked cloudy. I went and had it apraised and the diamond clusters in the wedding band were S1 diamonds but my solitaire was switched for an I2 diamond. There was a 1.35 carat diamond in the case when I picked up my diamond. I went back to confront them and that ring was no longer there. I believe with all my heart they swapped mine and sold the diamond that matched my set. After showing them my evidence they offered me a store credit. Then after they talked among themselves decided to give me back my money and pay me back for the appraisal. I have waited 26yrs to finally get get the ring of my dreams and they have broken my heart. It was the perfect wedding set for me and they stole my happiness. These people may seem nice but they are not honest. They have been there since as long as I can remember and I thought they was a good place to do business. I feel so broken over this.

I did not yell at the employee as I left the store. The whole conversation was recorded and I wanted the original I purchased as I had fallen in love with it, but you would not make it right. Also you gave my money back because the salesman told me the diamond was an S diamond. He also said he can only go buy what the jeweler says. The diamond was obviously different no one believed me so I had it appraised and it was not the S diamond. I have no intention of doing business with you again, but if you are so honest why do you take cash to avoid...

I am completely in love with my wedding set that I bought from this shop! I used to work for a pawn shop for 5 years, and I knew I wanted to search for a ring at a pawn shop first. My best friend and I went shopping for my set, and we stopped here first. Christina helped us, and this was the first shop we visited. I tried on this ring, and the owner gave me an excellent price on it! Stubbornly, I still wanted to view rings at other shops around just to be absolutely sure. I went to almost every other pawn shop from D'Iberville through Biloxi to Gulfport. Out of all those shops, the prices were crazy high, and their employees weren't near as friendly as Haney's. I went back to see it, and the diamond had what we believe to be makeup under it. Christina cleaned it for me then their jeweler (who has been at their shop for 30 years) cleaned it. I had to have it resized and they did this for minimal cost compared to the size of the ring. I couldn't be happier and will definitely be visiting this shop again in the future! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The guys that work here are super nice, outgoing, kind, and eager to help! They are ALL very knowledgeable in everything they buy and sell. I have purchased firearms and jewelry from here, as well as having watches and jewelry repaired and the products and service is ALWAYS superb. I only patronize reputable businesses with honest owners. I read some of the 1 star reviews and had to laugh at them. There is no way possible that any of the things that any of the people have said is even remotely accurate. It seems to me that those are just unhappy people that throw tantrums if they doing get their way! The owner is absolutely amazing and doesn’t have an unkind bone in his body. The two “older men” with white hair are witty, kind, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Anyone that could say they are rude, is most likely the ones with the bad attitude.
