Looked for someone to help get an item down, no one on the floor. Asked the cashier, who was rude because we interrupted her. She called for someone. Went to seasonal waited 20 min. Mom went over to the other cashier and there was another lady also wanting help. This cashier was friendly, said everyone is in the back and probably could not hear. She went to the back another lady came out with her and showed her where there was a Hammock on the floor, but it was the wrong color. We walked the whole store waiting for them to bring the ladder. I walked to the back door the lady was coming out with a ladder. I said can you get my Hammock or can I use the ladder and get it myself. She snapped we are busy unloading a truck. You can't get it yourself I am coming. Then she heads toward the item the other customer wanted. I said I have been waiting over 40 min. The other lady said, I can wait get hers first. The ladies attitude changed when she realized that I wanted the Hammock, she said I thought you was taken care of. Very poor customer service. A customer should come before unloading a truck. I understand it will take a few minutes to get someone from the back, but someone should be made available to help a customer then go back to unloading. 40 plus minutes is too long to wait and to give a customer attitude after they had been waiting that long is...
Read moreJust left the newest Hobby Lobby in our town. The cashiers in this store need courtesy training. Was just overcharged for a skein of yarn. I bought 3 and was overcharged $1.50 for the first one. I returned after I looked at my ticket. I told the cashier and she said I needed my merchandise for her to look at. I told her I had just gone through her line not 5 minutes before and that the ticket told her what I bought. She got an attitude and said she couldn't tell from the receipt. Now, it's 2023 and that's exactly how you know what you bought to return it. She insisted we go back out to the car where she could see what we bought. My husband, with his cane, walked back out to get the package so she could actually see it. In the meantime. she scanned my receipt and it indeed did tell her what I said in the beginning. I might add she only did this when the front manager came over. This was poor, poor customer service. No wonder this store is not as full as it was before it moved. Read moreI love the stuff they have but every hobby lobby has the same items. It’s the employees that make the store. Twice now, I’ve had the same lady skip me in line. I’m standing there today, with ONE item & she comes to the line I’m standing in, mind you, I’m next in line but the people in front of me are taking a few minutes, and she looks at me & walks right past me & goes to the woman behind me. She asks her if she has any returns & when she says no, she says, “ok, I’ll get you right over here!” Then looks at me and walks to her register! What the heck?? I was next, I had one item. The woman she grabbed had more than 3 or 4. I didn’t know this woman from Adam. Why would you do that? And it’s happened to me before. I’ve worked in retail. You go down the line.
