I had an incredibly disrespectful experience tonight with Taylor, a store associate who was the only one at the register. There were fall clearance items in boxes by the register that appeared to have been previously taped shut but were now wide open, likely from other customers checking the contents. As I was looking inside one of the open boxes, Taylor loudly and disrespectfully yelled from the register, "Don't open the boxes!" Her tone was completely rude, with no courtesy or even a "please," and she yelled this in front of everyone waiting in line. When I responded, explaining that I hadn’t opened the boxes— they were already open— her reply was even more disrespectful. She said, "I know, we're going to retape them, but you don’t open the boxes. You get what you get ."

On Saturday, September 20th, at approximately 8:30 p.m.—just 30 minutes before closing time—I walked into Michael’s in D’Iberville with a special request. I needed a total of 50 balloons blown up by 9:00 p.m. for an event. Realistically, this was a task that could take an hour and a half, but I asked if it could be done in just 30 minutes.
Instead of turning me away, Ross and Robert went above and beyond. Though the request was challenging, they worked together as a team with professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude. Not only did they complete the job safely and on time, but they also made sure I left the store completely satisfied and fully prepared for my event.
