I do not recommend this place if you are new or inexperienced to getting your nails done. They will take advantage of you. I took my 16 year old niece and my 16 year old child to get their nails done, they have never gotten a professional manicure and its been about 15 years since I've gotten one. This was just a rare experience for them to have. When I took my niece, she just wanted a simple manicure because she's in color guard. They tried to give her a pedicure as well, which made her feel uncomfortable. When I realized and said something, they corrected it and just said the technician misread the paper/receipt. It felt strange but I let it go. The next day, I took my child to her appointment to get a full set of acrylic nails with simple designs on 3 fingers per hand (a star outline, a filled in star, and a swirl). I stayed at the front while my child went back, not thinking they would take advantage of her. The technician took it upon herself to change the acrylic nails (priced at $50 on their display tablet) to gel nails (priced at $95) because she thought my child was too young for acrylic nails. At no time did anyone approach or speak to me about this. Not when we booked the appointment (inside the shop) or at the time of the appointment. My child did not know there was a price difference or that there was any real difference in the nails to begin with. I did not contest the total when I paid, tired and not really thinking about it being so much more than i was expecting, so when I became aware of the nail change and why, I did not request a refund. I did call the shop to bring attention to how it was inappropriate for the technician to make the change without at least consulting me first, and that I now doubted the technician trying to give my niece a pedicure on the first day as a mistake. The receptionist did not offer an apology or any consideration. She only responded with, "I don't know what you want." Clearly, to me, taking advantage of those they can is something they think is okay. My opinion is they lack ethics and I would not recommend them to anyone, for fear they will take advantage...
Read moreMy wife got charged an extra $18 dollars for nail polish and the lady argued with her. We saw online that a manicure is $20 which according to their website is Classic Manicure for $20 and Includes: Nail trim, Cuticle trim, massage,Polish and takes about 20 Minutes so she went in and told them she wanted a manicure. One of the ladies showed her the nail polish and my wife told her she did not want any colors she just wanted a clear coat and the lady said ok. Then she asked if she wanted a clear coat with a sparkly shine to it and my wife declined but then my wife asked her what it looked like and she showed her on her nail and my wife liked it and said yes. After she finished we paid and walked out then realized she charged me $38 dollars instead of $20 and I tipped her $7 so my wife's $20 dollars manicure now cost me $45 dollars. I went back in to get my $18 dollars back and she said she told her she wanted gel nail polish not regular my wife never once said anything about gel and she made it seem like it was the same price had she told me she was going to charge me and extra $18 dollars we would have declined. I think its ridiculous that they charge such a ridiculous price difference for nail polish and my wife says she will not...
Read moreIf i could give a lower rating i would. I went in to the shop around 2 in the afternoon( a reasonable time) to get acrylic nails done. The older man who came to do them appeared to be inconvenienced and tried to talk me into just getting my natural nails paint and i just told him no I’m sure i want acrylics and he just kept trying to talk me out of it the whole time he was working in my nails. Then half way into him doing the acrylic, he didn’t even finish one hand, he calls over another girl to finish my nails and he never come back. So, the rest of the time she’s doing my nails, she is rushing and cuts every single one of my fingers in the process and saying every cuss word you can imagine. To top this experience off, she messed up the nail extension on my pinky and decide to pull it off along with my the entire top part of my nail, down to the nail bed where it is attached and it began bleeding badly and tried to tell me that my nail was already broken and that it wasn’t her fault. I’m sorry but i went in there with perfect fine fingers and now every single one of them are bleeding at this point. Will never ever go there or recommend them. Highly unprofessional and...
