Sumter Swap Meets — Local services in Dade City

As long time customers and occasional vendor at this swap meet and a long time customer of the new operator of this operation, very disappointed with the Saturday 12/2/23 portion of the 3 day meet. Entry fee was more, as expected , for a 3 day event, but the 3 day event vendors were not there. Vendors we knew and others we talked with were so disappointed with the way the weekend was failing how reserved spaces were broken up so their produces were on opposite sides of an isle instead of together as reserved. When I asked if our pass was for the remaining 2 days I was told the entry fee would be half for Sunday with the explanation "Sunday is the regular day of show and will have the regular vendors" QUESTION, is not bad business practice to charge twice as much for half the product? I know the truck parts business was not run that way. Hope this is a learning thing and...

Please be advised this place is big. I recommend you come prepared. Sunblock, sunglasses, hats. It is outdoors so, definitely protect your skin. Next, bring plenty of money. There are so many vendors you want to make sure you can walk away with some great finds. You will not be disappointed. Car parts, tools, toys, home decor, etc. The bathroom is clean. The people out here are great. Come early or you might just miss out. You may also want to bring water to stay well hydrated. However, some vendors sell food and water. Love this place I have visit it since early 2000 It hasn’t change lots of people lots of walking bring a hat and sunblock and cash for you to buy water at vendors stands You can fining tools car parts wheels tires Is a swap meet for vehicle lovers antique cars for sale custom cars and more Trailer tires and the list continues stop by and check it out …..
