This past Friday and Saturday My son and I were able to visit and fish the waters of Noontootla Creek Farms. The experience was wonderful! We enjoyed the lodging provisions and the unique landscaping of this hidden mountain treasure. What made it most enjoyable was my host and guide, Mike Russo. During a time of the year where water temperatures are still low and trout don’t like to feed as much, Mike set my son and I up for two very successful days of fishing!

Mike approaches fly fishing for trout with a very methodical passion. After speaking with him for just a few minutes you quickly realize that you will not only be fishing together but LEARNING a great deal. Mike loves to tell how the “how” and the “why” behind the mysterious habits of trout and the special fly-fishing tools required to catch them. After just two days of fishing my knowledge of fly-fishing and especially Euro-Nymphing was exponentially increased.

This place has horrible customer service and I urge everyone to stay away. Today my family and a close family friend (and a photographer) were literally within 30 min of being on site and they receive a phone call from one of the representatives stating that, “it is too cold to go hunting, we are canceling the hunt”. Then when the deposit was asked to be returned, they were hung up on, unbelievable lack of customer service. My family had been looking forward to this for close to 3 weeks just to be told when they are within 30 minutes of being on site, truck loaded with gear and firearms, that it’s “too cold” to go out today. My family will be disputing the charges with the credit card company for the deposit that was stolen. Everyone stay away, this location does not deserve your business...
