Driving down the road I see a sign directing me to a lavender farm down the way, well my Mother's Birthday was approaching and she loves lavender, so I took it as a sign to check it out. Without reading any review's I noticed the 3.7 and thought it was kinda strange for a "lavender store." But I took the chance.Sign outside requested folks wear a mask but I took my chances and still strolled in.As I entered the tiny, quaint well set up room, it was like getting punched in the face by a lavender explosion. And I heard another customer react the same way. I'm not into lavender but the smell was incredible. The prices seemed fair, nice selection of products and the young gal behind the counter, after I joked multiple times, verified the products were sourced from their plants. The "farm" did look like it was someone's huge yard, but it appeared well laid out. If you're looking for Lavender Disney Land don't pay my review much attention, but if you're solely interested in the small shop, it was nice. I will update the review once my Mother uses the products. And they never harrassed me over not...
Read moreIt's literally someone's backyard. We felt a little ripped off having to pay to walk around the back yard, not even able to pick any. The shop is also small and nothing really caught my eye in it. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Granted if it were my backyard I'd be extremely happy to have that in it but the pictures online are pretty misleading. It fell far below expectations but I guess if you're in the area already and love lavender then it's not the worst place to go. Online, it looked better than a lot of the other places around here that I looked up. We definitely wont go back though. No fault to them, they were great, just not what we expected. I know lavender is difficult to grow here. Were military and came from Washington state where lavender is HUGE and the farms there are amazing so I guess our expectations were a little too high for georgia. Was still nice to smell that smell though. I wish them the...
Read moreWent for the festival, not just on a regular day. All the people working there seemed super nice but I have to say it was crazy unorganized. Aside from driving very far to get there when we arrived we were stuck in parking traffic for at least 35 min. Only paid $3 to park so that was fine but the parking field wasn't mowed at all so if you're in a sedan it's not that pleasant. The lavendar farm is very small, it seems to be just in someone's yard basically. We waited in line forever to buy tickets only to find out you then have to wait in another huge line for baskets to even be allowed to pick the lavendar. There were only three porta pottys with a gigantic line so definitely stop at a fast food place before you get there if you need the restroom. Just sad we wasted a almost a whole Saturday. Maybe it would be better just stopping by on a normal day but I certainly will not be making the drive again for a tiny bundle...
