This was my first time visiting. I will not return. To start, the technician I requested did not do my mani-pedi. I was disappointed about that. I read the reviews beforehand, and I wanted a certain person. When I scheduled the appointment, and requested the technician from the reviews, I was told that the tech I wanted had an appointment scheduled for the time I planned to arrive, and that I would need to see someoneelse. However, when I arrived the tech I originally requested had no clients and was eating.
However, the main issue is one of cleanliness, safety protocols, and public health. As I was getting a pedicure, I noticed the tech picked up a well-worn foot pumice stone (purple and lavender). I immediately asked her for an unused pumi stone because the one she was attempting to use was so worn down, it was practically flat. I was astounded. Even more so because, when I asked for a fresh one, the technician looked so puzzled as I explained that it is not sanitary to reuse tools like that. Her co-workers also seemed puzzled, as if I had said something ridiculous and they started talking amongst themselves in a non-English language and laughing. I have never experienced a salon re-using tools on customers. Ever. How nasty! Why would I want any tools like that used on my feet or hands when they've been used on other people???!!
Also, the towel that was used during my pedicure was so old and tattered. It was clear that it used to be white, but is now very dark, like it had been used for cleaning. The towel also had an odd smell, like Fabuloso..
I completed my service, tipped, and left, but I will not return. I am very disappointed especially since this place is 5 minutes from my house., but I expect good service and a cleanliness. I did...
Read moreI recently moved to the area and to save time thought I’d try a place near my home. I loved that it was small but my first experience what everything short of relaxing. There’s was a weird inappropriate (for public viewing) on the television. When I entered there was one lady; who may run the salon Was pretty rude. Her tone was giving why did you come here. I was told to choose a color, typical however there was only about 20 regular polishes everything else was gel. To each it’s own, I’m still old school. Once I’m seated in the pedicure chair, there’s noise after noise. There was one who looked like an older teen/young adult was on his computer playing something really loud. Then i notice an elementary school again boy on his tablet device on the highest volume Ever! It was to much going on for such a small space. Likely not going back bc the sounds were overwhelming. If children need to come, that’s fine but give them some...
Read moreCute little salon in a very small strip mall, the staff are wonderful. The nice lady stepped out of her comfort zone and do some simple nail art, she normally would only do solids and the nail art staff were currently not in. I think she did a great job, and she definitely took her time making sure it looked pretty. Make sure to call ahead to get a seat, as they are short staffed and cannot accommodate walk-ins. The return window for me was only an hour, so I told her I'd be there, and I definitely am glad I went in. I recommend this little local business, the experience was great. I promised to write a review and then tipped 100%, which was...
