Goodwill Outlet Store — Local services in Dallas

This place use to be good until upper management got greedy and start overcharging for stuff that they get for free. I spoke to some of the workers and they told me that they were shock too about the higher prices. They told me the higher prices per pound didn’t mean that they would get a raise, because they didn’t! These items are donated for free, so how do you go from 1.79 to 2.89 within one week for clothing and 1.39 per book or media 1.49 per linen and so on. These are donated items. Let me tell you where the money is going and why, answer: Corporate Greed!!! I know prices are up everywhere, but again these items are donated! So there is No Need for goodwill outlet to raise their prices! They get these items for free! You have employees working extremely hard to bring out items for us and Goodwill pays these people pennies to work, even in extreme heat! (Pay those employees better wages!) Give those employees a bonus, encourage and contribute to those who want to go back to school! Use some of that money towards your employees! Pay Forward! So where is that extra money going Goodwill? Not to the employees, there is no update on those filthy bathrooms, no update to get a working AC! There is NO working AC so expect to be miserable during Summer/Fall Months from May to October when shopping there. I’ve been going there for over three years and they have never had working air condition! Bring your toilet paper (cause they don’t have none) if you dare step into one of those Scary bathrooms!. I went for the first time at this goodwills bins last week! i tried watching enough videos just to know what to expect lol honestly i thought it would be a bad experience because i usually dont like going shopping when theres tons of people and ive seen videos of how people can get at the bins but everyone was nice and respectful. Workers were also nice and made it very clear to everyone before shopping to be respectful with everyone! Also i was confused on why the carts were at the wall so i asked a lady and she was very kind to explain the rules and she also told me about how pricing worked! Left with tons of good finds for such a steal! Dont get discouraged for the reviews or videos, just go and give it a try! I would said its better to go with someone else to get a bit of help because i was looking through the bins but i would spy on my cart lol every minute to make sure nobody was near my cart trying get my stuffs! Don't plan on coming to this location if you have children. No one is allowed in under 16. There is no explanation of any kind, and does not say it anywhere except the door. I even asked for an explanation why and didn't get an answer. Not this way at other locations. Great customer service....not. I wouldn't even give this location my money in the retail side because of the outlet side "rules." Guess maybe I should have looked at other Google reviews before making the trip out here.
