Pink Petunia Weddings — Local services in Dallas

Pink Petunia recently did the florals for my April wedding and we had a really disheartening experience. The owner of Pink Petunia sold the company to the owner of Flora Soul Studio after we had already signed our contract. While we were ok with this at first, we immediately noticed a significant shift in the service we received. The new owner would not meet with us to discuss design without incurring an extra charge and requested all changes be made via email. (To this day we have never met anyone single employee, even over the phone) Not only did they say they couldn’t do what was in my original contract within my budget, but they got my florals completely wrong on my wedding day and didn’t respond to my message about it for over two weeks. They responded that I would get a partial refund, which I was ok with, except for it has now been over a month since they have said that and I haven’t seen the refund yet, nor gotten a response back from them, despite several follow ups. We highly recommend Pink Petunia!! Jody and her team are truly experts, and they are so genuinely invested in helping each couple create their perfect wedding atmosphere. My husband and I knew next to nothing when it came to flowers and design, but we enjoyed our planning session with Jody so much! She was so patient and willing to google pictures every time we didn't recognize the name of a flower she mentioned (which was most of them). Jody also helped us understand all of the wedding elements that can be paired well with flowers as my husband I didn't really understand the possibilities- turns out we loved flowers on our welcome sign! For the elements we didn't feel the need to include flowers, Jody didn't pressure us at all and seamlessly moved on to the next step of bringing our vision to life. I'll be honest, florals were not my expertise. I am an artist so I can completely appreciate the artistry, but I know nothing about flowers themselves. Jody is however, incredibly knowledgeable! She had an answer to every question and worked with me by providing lots of ideas and inspiration to help me develop a vision that felt like my husband and I. She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. She is very sweet and her work is absolutely gorgeous. I was surprised how many compliments we received on her work. I didn't think florals were typically something so many people would pay attention to, but once I saw Jody's work I realized why. Her florals are beautiful quality and so intricate. I loved that she created several statement pieces for us that made me feel like I was in a magical garden!!
