My now husband and I met with Troy while he was with On the Move Entertainment in June 2019. While we listened to Troy and the other members in their band perform in their downstairs speakeasy, we knew we had found the band we always dreamt of! We booked Troy and the band right away and were so excited! As 2020 began, we looked forward to our September 12th wedding. Due to the pandemic, we decided in May 2020 to postpone our wedding to May 1, 2021. We first spoke with Troy to ensure he was available that evening as we knew this band was our top priority to have for our wedding. Unfortunately, with the pandemic still going on 2021 in we made the difficult decision to postpone in late January 2021 until June 11, 2022. During this time, Troy parted ways with On the Move Entertainment and started his own company, TCE. While Troy was no longer with OTM, I reached out to Troy to ask if he would still be able to be part of our wedding. Troy insisted he would be there and our minds were put at ease!

Months turned into weeks and finally June 11th arrived! Having Troy be part of our wedding was the best decision ever! Troy arrived at our venue, The Legacy Castle, and was ready for what was to come that evening! Always a true professional, Troy was charismatic,charming, interactive and kept our 200 guests on the dance floor all evening! He sang and emceed throughout the evening and ensured everyone had a fabulous time! Having Troy change into various evening jackets to fit the mood of the reception and after party added to the drama and elegance of the evening! Our guests are raving about the entertainment and the amazing evening they experienced!

We feel the planning was flawless as well as the execution of the evening. Troy, we can't thank you enough for your commitment to being part of our celebration and for creating such a memorable event for ourselves and our guests!

Throughout our wedding celebration our guests came up to us to point out various things they loved about our reception. There were many kind compliments ranging from the decor, to the flowers, to the food. That said, there was one aspect of our wedding that absolutely blew us and all of our guests away and that was the Troy Curtis Orchestra! For weeks following the wedding, we received texts, calls and comments like, “Oh my God!! That was the best wedding band I have ever seen in my entire life!!” or “The band you guys had was amazing… I just couldn’t stop dancing each song was better than the next!” or “I hope you don’t mind if we try and book them for our wedding!!.” It’s true, Troy Curtis along with each and every member of his band were nothing short of spectacular. The musicians were outstanding, playing at a level of expertise that couldn’t go unnoticed. Each singer was not only incredibly talented but brought a sense of true enjoyment and energy that spread like wildfire throughout our room filled with friends and family. Several people came up to us asking if they toured outside of weddings because they would pay to go see them… no joke!!

From the classy and fun “Sax-n-Tracks” playing throughout the cocktail hour to the warm, acoustic performance during dinner the Troy Curtis Orchestra was able to create the exact ambiance we wanted for each phase of our celebration. Not only were they able to keep the crowd smiling and dancing for hours on end… but the band also captured the most important moments (parent dances and our first dance) perfectly. Since we got married the Saturday before Mother’s Day, Troy even took the time to toast our Moms (and all Moms in attendance) which was greatly appreciated. The first day we met Troy he promised to do everything he could to help make our wedding the happiest, most special day of our lives. It’s safe to say Troy not only lived up to his word, but surpassed our already VERY high expectations. Their talent, attention to detail and passion for what they do is unmatched. Troy and his Party In The City band absolutely crushed it at our wedding this past weekend!!! They were absolutely incredible and all of our friends and family have not stopped raving about how amazing they were!! Troy and his band really know how to throw a party and keep the guests on the dance floor the entire wedding night! The dance floor was PACKED the entire night!!! Choosing TCE as our band for our wedding was the best choice we’ve ever made!!! They were SO BEYOND TALENTED and truly cared so much about making sure our wedding night was the best night of our lives. The vocals, the talent, the incredible atmosphere they created made the night even more incredible!! The way Troy runs his business is truly incredible — he went above and beyond to make sure the night ran smoothly for us and to make sure him and his band crushed it for us!
