We reached out to Chef Laura for a private family dinner to celebrate a milestone birthday and retirement during our family vacation to Sonoma. We could not have had a better experience! From start to finish, Chef Laura was so organized, helpful and personable. She helped us plan our menu virtually and narrow down our options for each course, taking into account each member of our party's dietary restrictions and preferences and ensuring that the progression of our meal was cohesive. We had a vegetarian and picky eater in our group, and I was worried this would be difficult to accommodate, but Chef Laura made it incredibly easy to ensure everyone's needs were met and offered seamless accommodations for both. Her communication throughout the process was clear, organized and we always knew what to expect. Our dinner was absolutely incredible - we unanimously agreed that it was one of the best meals we have ever had, picky eater included. In particular, I will be dreaming about the Yuzu cheesecake! Each course was better than the last and testament to Chef Laura's incredible skill. Most importantly, Chef Laura and her team were so personable and kind, in addition to being incredibly organized and on top of everything. I could not believe how seamless the experience was in our AirBnb - truly, it was magic. We all really enjoyed talking to Chef Laura and learning more about her background, her inspiration for the dishes, and technique. Best private chef experience I’ve had. Laura and Eric will exceed your expectations. Visited Sonoma and knew we wanted a private chef for a couple meals for a group of 8. Laura was recommended through our property manager and I could not be happier with our experience. Laura and Eric were super responsive and helped walk us through our menu options for breakfast and dinner. They were patient (I had a lot of questions), flexible, accommodating and genuinely excited to be part of our experience. They crafted the perfect harmony of dishes and Eric made the best soft scrambled eggs and green juice I’ve ever had. Everything was amazing, the scallop dish and ribeye we picked for dinner were insane, and we ended the meal with a beautiful seasonal fruit buckle. We added wine pairing to our dinner which was perfectly crafted to compliment our dinner. Eric managed our meals and walked us through the dishes, where ingredients were from, etc. It was nice to have him be part of the experience and conversation.

Wow! I highly recommend Chef L Custom Culinary Experiences. While in Sonoma for the weekend our party of 6 enjoyed the Wine Pairing Aroma Sensory Experience & 5 course Wine Dinner. It was amazing! When Laura and Eric arrived, they quickly got to work. While Eric stayed in the kitchen, Laura took us through our mini Sommelier training. 16 "empty" glasses, 16 individual scents you find in wine. How good is your sense of smell? A really fun and educational wine experience. Then you have dinner, when Eric took us on a journey of balancing wine with food through salt and sugar. Another fascinating learning experience. The wine pairings were delicious and dinner was exceptional! Laura and Eric turn high quality ingredients into exceptionally handcrafted bites of gourmet yumminess. A food lovers dream. So happy we had scheduled them to provide Brunch a couple days later. It was an amazing spread of fresh made deliciousness. Laura and Eric are amazing chefs, providing incredibly high quality, flavorful food, as well as engaging to have in your kitchen.
