Piedmont General Store — Local services in Dandridge

This store has been on my bucket list for a few years. Since it is about an hour and 15 min. from my home, I held off until I was heading towards Dandridge one day. Today I finally got to go (Wednesday 12:30) after checking the web site for operating hours and found it was CLOSED! Very disappointed! When I got home, I checked the web again and it says Wednesday open 7:00 - 2:00. Am I missing something? Did the store close for good? I couldn't find any info on that, and there was no "closed" sign on the door. Hmmm? (So I had to rate it a 1)

P.s. I recently went on their Facebook page and saw.....closed on Wednesdays! So, as a suggestion, maybe they could get their website AND FB to be consistent? Recommend people calling first if they are going to visit....

You better bring cash they don't take credit cards. Worst bologna sandwich I ever eat I should have made it at home. My wife's grilled cheese was nothing but toast with a slab of cheese between it, not even melted cheese. They should have a cash only sign...
