The House of Teak — Local services in Dania Beach

I live by the Atlantic Ocean in Florida and all my outdoor furniture gets beaten from the salt. Eight years ago, I decided to buy teak furniture instead, and I purchased a beautiful table with eight chairs, two meditation seats and a planter from Vicktor at The House of Teak. I entertain, a lot and therefore this table gets used! About every year And a half I reach out to Vicktor and he sends his men out to clean the elements of nature off my table and chairs and give it a beautiful new coat of oil and touchup, and everything comes back as good as new brand new. I have never had outdoor furniture that lasted this long that and looked this good for so long. Everyone who comes to my house and enjoys a meal on this table in my backyard, admire the table and always asks “how do you keep this table looking so good”? Well, the answer is that it is teak, so it will last, but I also purchased it from a vendor who Is willing to support me as a customer in keeping the integrity of the product he has sold me. After eight years of constant use, two of the slats in the table are broken. I contacted Victor and asked about repairing them, and he’s personally coming to look at the damage before sending his carpenter to do the repair. That’s customer service in my eyes. Had a wonderful experience purchasing from the House of Teak. I'd been looking around online for a teak shower mat, but couldn't find anything that was remotely close to the dimensions I needed.

I saw House of Teak on Amazon, and decided to call them to try and buy 2 mats (that put together would've been a close fit). Victor answered, and after explaining my intention to combine the mats - he offered to custom cut a full-sized mat for us, which ended up being almost the same price!

The mat looks beautiful, and is certainly better than any plastic or rubberized alternative. My only problem is that I was initially worried about the mat not being able to fit, so I gave dimensions that were about a half-inch or inch smaller than the shower. Victor cut the exact dimensions I gave him, so if I could do it again... I would probably only leave one side short (to pick up/set down the mat), and let the other one go the full length.

Normally I wouldn't comment on the shipping unless there was an issue - but I was genuinely impressed at receiving the package. The (large) package was double-boxed, and had at least 3 extra layers of heavy-duty cardboard above and below the mat in the package. You would've literally had to take a hatchet to this thing to damage it.

I was looking for teak furniture on line when I found a local resource-House of Teak. I never expected I would have the absolutely wonderful experience that I did.
