I have stopped by this store on several occasions and had pleasant experiences. Yesterday I stopped by and picked up 2 watermelons at $6.99 each. When I got the melons home both of them was full of water and inedible. I called the market to report it, not even to get my money back but so they could remove them from the yard. I was told they don't Guarantee their produce and they purchase It from local farmers And sellin it is the only way they can yet their money back. I ask even if you know they are bad, she said what do you suggest? I said at least check them out and don't sell bad produce. Sadly I was not convinced that that was...

Like stepping back in time 50 years. Barrels full of beans and nuts. Fresh local fruits and vegetables out front. Old timey candy and cider, preserves, hoop cheese and hog jowels too....
