Read moreThe Dan River at this point is not too deep for little ones to wade when they aren't running high at the power plant. You can wade and fish and cool off on a hot day. Once a year there is a river run for tubers and kayakers. People show up from all over to attend. On weekends, they do a recreational release during summer months for tubers s there's enough water.
