Very simple ambiance. Its basically a kitchen built into a barn. If you took the table and decor out it could easily convert to hold hay. But all that doesnt really matter bc theyre going for the nice simple homemade farm meal. When I went, there wasn’t a menu per say. I was told they had a burger or chorizo burger. And that was it. So i went with the burger. When it came out I got just that; a bun and burger. Period. Then you get in line for all the fixins. Mind you, they had a nice variety from pickled cabbage to bourbon bbq sauce. So after all that and with its very simple decor, it gave me a TERRIFIC burger! The sauce was great. I had like 3 different pickled things on there. It was soooo good. I don’t usually get a 2nd burger, but I seriously tried justifying to myself that it was a good idea. I did however decide that coming back again or stopping whenever im in the area is likely a great idea. Bonus is this place would likely make a good place for a client meeting. Or properly coordinated, a good place for a wedding reception. They even have a little farm playground. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is bc I was wanting to get the Reuben (I love reubens) and they didnt have it. And they weren’t able to give me a day when it would be there or when it was expected.

After the suggestion from The Ashley Inn staff we made our way here and oh boy, my wife and I were absolutely stunned by this food. We both had the pulled pork with creamy slaw and then a side of mac and cheese. Nothing else compares to both of them, easily the best I've ever had and it made my wife even love pulled pork again. You can tell the passion that the staff have for this place and it's fantastic. I highly suggest it!

I've had almost everything on the menu and it is ALL delicious! And ALL pasture raised or grass fed just miles away from the processing facility. The smoked bologna reuben and the chorizo burger are my absolute favorite, but really everything is good. I love cooking with Marksbury meats at home as well, and the staff is great to help pick out meat cuts for home cooking.

I come to a restaurant to have a meal served to me. I'd not had occasion to go to this restaurant in awhile, so the changes were a bit of shock to me, and not in a good way. Before you had people wait on you, and there were plenty of food options. I loved the fresh friend potato chips, and the burgers were pretty good. Good atmosphere. Today, I was not happy.

I was given a luke-warm hamburger patty on a bun, sitting in the middle of a paper plate. Nothing else. No mayo, no lettuce, no tomato. When I asked about it, I was told I had to dress my burger myself. They have a place that is pretty unsanitary to do that. My wife got the mac and cheese with sausage. It was cold. It was also not good. She commented that it wasn't even as good as the hamburger mush I make when we get home late and don't have time to cook real food. To add insult to the already insulting visit, they no longer have people manning the register, you're expected to pick what you want from a computer screen and hit the button yourself. There were, I think, six options. After ordering I realized there were no drink machines anymore. Just a water jug, primo, I think. No more fresh fried chips, but they do have the little 50c bags of chips. For 10.00, I would have spent a couple more dollars and gone to Wings and Rings. Honestly?

I DID enjoy it, but will...

First and foremost, food was great !! Hot n fresh we both had special (mushroom n Swiss burger with fries ) The fries came about 5 min after the burger, kinda odd but ok . Strange , unorganized, or unorthodox atmosphere. Only one order kiosk , had to ask someone how this place worked . Only 4-6 items to choose , all the same price . 10.00 .I thought it was a bit pricey for what I got , but was good , burger had a great flavor! We just felt , unwelcome , and kinda in the way ? Just a very strange experience. Then I think it was the employees that came in all at once , my father (on crutches) almost got knocked down going to restroom . I think this place has the opportunity to be awesome , but in current style only good for the locals that know how it works , just a very...
