I love the racetrack at centerville. 80% of the people weren't up on the starting line. So many that you can barely see the car on the starting line. Only the ones that work there. Who are supposed to be on the starting line. There wasnt a big slew of people standing and sitting on the concrete walls. Halfway way down the racetrack either. Everyone was where they supposed to be, up in the bleachers. Or behind the fence setting in the bed of their trucks. And best of all it was racing. None stop. Race after race after race. None stop. No in-between races long down times. And they have a pretty nice snack bar. Tables and chairs. Fans and a roof to set under. And pretty good food too. But one of the best things, they sell t-shirts. But it's overdue for some Renovations. Modernize. Update. Bring it up to 21st...
Read moreA very differ.ent type of facility than what we are used to. Before the races started and the drivers were getting the track race ready. I was surprised and concerned about children of all ages riding in the race cars without any safety percautions. We go to race tracks around the country and this is the first time I have seen this permitted. Kids were hanging out of Windows, waving their arms around with at times appx 20 cars on the track. The races were exciting and competitive. Prices a little high. Not a large crowd...
Read moreBleachers are a nice touch, though they felt wobbly we had a great view. Backward race was fun to watch! Seriously overpriced and small variety of snacks and food, even for a small track. $2 for a can soda, so add a dollar to what you normally pay at other tracks. Pitch black parking in a knee high grass field, bring a flashlight. You better know where you are going, there is not a single sign off of the main road...
