It's a great place to fish if you don't have your license yet. The bathrooms are nice, air conditioned and clean, ( but no soap). The pier is opened 24/7 with security. My only reasoning for 4 stars is that the Saturday night we went it wasn't guarded as good. Children were running past our poles and people were smoking pot and drinking next to us with zero cares. Would hate to see it taken away from one or two bad apple's. Updating to add some pictures of red and black drums my husband and son in law caught in November from the pier!

Excellent place to fish! With cleaning tables , water hoses, and nice bathrooms.

If you have not been fishing the pier is awesome! I had such a good time, just relaxing! Besides it was great to catch some fish I had so much fun! The pier has everything you need, chair reel's bait. No license required. You don't have to bring anything but I would bring a chair and of course snacks and enjoy the day 🎣.

First of all the owners are crazy and the staffs take the money and go and other staffs aking to pay from us again.

When I inquired before I went here, they said that the fishing pass was valid for 24 hours once I bought it. So we arrived at 3 AM on May 25th and my husband were paying by credit card when fishing and then taking a rest at 10 AM in the morning. My other family member and children woke up at 7:30AM in the morning and paid for the fishing pass by cash also. 11am other staff come and told me to pay the money again from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. I told the staff "my husband was sleeping right now so i will ask when he woke up and let you know". He said "Yes" And after an hour, someone who comes to us and shouts and says he will call the police if you are not leave immediately. It was so absurd that I showed the receipt but he was stubborn. That was two owners. He Doesn't have any reason and no any explanation. It was very rude enough. Even he did not pay back for four adults and two kids's ticket two times.($60) He given $6 cash and said go ouf now. I didn't get a money because that I never seen owner's attitude like that. He already talk with one lady staff and he knew there staff's mistake. Why i did reviw like longer? I don't want to someone has same situation as me again.

We are going to there for 6hrs after work the Memorial weekend trip and spend gas for two of the RV $400 with conformation from them on the phone. I have enough money to enjoy to go anywhere. Do you think I am mad about $60 no refund? Nope! IT IS NOT THE MONEY NONE REFUND ISSUE, IT IS RACISM!!! PLEASE,THINK ONE MORE TIME TO COME HERE PEOPLE!!

I do not feel anger, but i just praying for there business and owners how poor there mental and attitude of life.

By the way thanks for kick me out ,I am now have a wonderful spot at Bay Palms RV resort(Only $50) with great spot for free fishing and family fun with swimming,BBQ and more.

Guys, thanks for reading my review and have a greaful...

We have been here numerous times! After the hurricane came through and destroyed most of the pier it is much better. The new pier is huge! It is open 24/7 and last night we were there from 6pm to 2 am and at the high point there were at least 300 people out there. Not everyone was fishing but quite a few. This is for everyone- kids to grandparents. Everyone had a spot.. but when there are lots of folks- lines are bound to cross and they did but everyone was very nice because fishing is the name of the game. So now they have men and women bathrooms with 4 stalls each which is nice because before the storm there were only porta potties. Yuck! The bathrooms are clean and now there are guys to pick up the trash on the pier and the grounds. There are garbage cans everywhere. I also like that there are plenty of grocery carts to put your stuff in to go out on the pier. Also it's 6 bucks for adults and 3 for kids to fish. You do not need a separate fishing license because you are covered by the pier. Which is great! When you pay they stamp your arm so you can come and go as you please. Ok now the store... you can buy bait, beer, snacks, food, soda..small fishing supplies, shirts and you can rent chairs and fishing poles as well. It's a great day...or night! The only thing I wish they had was some COFFEE!!! I would have stayed all night! We are going...

As far as the fishing is, it's a great place. I went with my group of 9 people and we all caught multiple small to medium sized fish. The sunset view was amazing, the prices were okay. If you can bring your own pole definitely do so. The workers try to get you to gouge you of course. As soon as they saw we were from out of town, they tried to get us to buy the more expensive bait and professional poles. My boyfriend and I were given a broken pole. We went out to fish and cast the line and could not reel it in because the lever was broken and no one could fix it, not even the employees. We did not break it and the lever just fell off completely when we touched it. We went to go return the pole within a few minutes and they gave us a new one, but when we went to leave at the end of our time they tried to charge us $10 for the broken pole, and even talked about us to another person in our group who they didn't know was with us as the "boy and girl who broke a pole". We told them we weren't paying and they dropped it, but make sure you check your poles before you...
