D.I. Reef Monster — Local services in Dauphin Island

I am thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and experience of captain Spencer. We asked for an non conventional type of trip to be dropped off at the end of dauphin island to shell hunt. Captain Spencer went above and beyond. Not only adding a narrated tour of the island explaining the history of everything we came across going out to the light house giving us an educational experience about the history of the lighthouse which is amazing but i wont spoil that for you. Youll have to book a trip with d.i. Reef monsters to get that part. The most amazing part is that when we got to the end of the island in mind you 50 degree water Captain spencer beached his beautiful and EXPENCIVE catamaran boat less than 10’ from dry land so we didnt have to go in water over knee deep… There were 3 other smaller bay boats and they were 50’ plus off the shore…. To say the very least when we return for our next vacations we will ONLY book trips with D.I. Reef monsters!! Any request they WILL MAKE HAPPEN!!!!! Great prices too!! Captain Spencer has no clue who I am and until this very moment he reads this I am a wounded combat veteran I recieved a purple heart in 2004 for my wounds ….. My wife and I were treated better than friends but like family I will recommend...

My husband and I chartered this boat for an off shore fishing day. We arrived at 6am and the boat was ready to go, and we met the captain Spencer and the first mate Tyson. They put our drinks in their cooler and helped us aboard. The sun was just rising and it was incredibly beautiful. It's about a 2 hour ride out to where you go fishing and it was fast and the music was good and it was very comfortable. They have bean bag chairs to sit in which makes the waves comfortable and I actually fell asleep in one on the way back! We caught SO many fish, mostly snapper, and my arms were literally sore by the end of the day. We would put the pole in and 30 seconds later had a bite, this went on all day! They had our rod baited constantly and took care of every detail. It was a great experience. Very fun, kind, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to do an off shore...

We had a great experience with D.I. Reef Monster! The trip was a gift for our oldest son graduating high school. He has always wanted to go deep sea fishing. When we arrived, the skies were showing lightning so we were concerned the trip wouldn't make. They took us out but with no guarantees. During the middle of the trip, the captain told us we would have to head back. We were disappointed, but we understood. On the way back, though, the captain worked so hard to find areas that were safe on the way back. We got all of our fish and were able to complete the trip. They communicated wonderfully before the trip. I totally recommend if you want the best experience...
