Update: when I got home I did not see the electric start on the mower and since I had not bought a new mower for over 20 years I assumed I just didn't know where it was so I went ahead and mowed my lawn. After I got done I went called store after I got out all my old information from when I ordered this lawn mower and noticed that the picture on the one I ordered did not match the one that I got. They look exactly identical other than the battery pack that is supposed to be on there for the electric start. I had already mowed my lawn so I assumed I was just going to have to deal with it and move on. I called anyway and I have to say I was amazed with how understanding they were and how Ray the manager really did a great job of taking care of me and letting me exchange this mower for the one I thought I was going to get and actually gave me a better one for the same price. I am completely blown away of how well they handled this. Also, Ray was not even there this weekend when I picked it up and even though he wasn't there everyone knew exactly what I needed to have done and we're all on the same page so I do not have to re explain anything which was immensely satisfying. I will continue to utilize Farm and Fleet from now on especially this location since they took such good care of me and would highly recommend them to anybody.
The only reason I market a 3 was because initially I called to pick up an item and was told they would have it by Monday. When I went in Monday afternoon of course they did not have it and had no idea what I was talking about. They said that the item was supposed to be in but never came in and I just had to call everyday at noon to see if the item came in. Then one of the workers said they would call me when it came in and hold one for me, but never did and I called myself and the item was in and nobody ever called me. when I finally got the item everything went very smoothly, but I just was a little annoyed that it took that much to get one item. one of the employees tried to give me the excuse that the person I talked to you initially must have been a new person and I just feel that is not an excuse and they could have gotten somebody to help me if they didn't know. The other issue is I don't live anywhere near here so it was a little bit of a pain to come all the way out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stop in while on a roadtrip for a mobil1 oil change. The nice lady at the counter says it''ll be a 2hr wait. Wanting to make time on my trip I walk across the street to a smaller shop and they say itll take about15 min. More reasonable. They said I had to get the mobil1 oil from blain's since they didnt stock it and then they would do it for 20 bucks filter included. I then go purchase the oil, walk out and my truck is in the shop. 2hr wait became 5 min when they saw me walk. I approach the mechanic and he tells me i have big problems. He informs me my serpetine belt is off the pulleys on the cranck and supercharger. He then explains to me how its gonna be expensive. He then says they will push it out of the shop if i dont want to pay! At that point I tell them they will have a lawsuit if they do that. My gf then takes pictures of the belt off and the truck in the shop. All this over a belt! And a belt is a simple thing! Ask any mechanic! I call toyota to comfirm my hunch that the truck would not run if this belt was off. The service tech at team toyota confirmed that it would not run with this belt off. So, if i drove it into the parking lot and they drove it into the shop the belt surely came off in their shop. Basically, 1 of 2 things happened. 1. Someone in the shop took the belt off to try and pull a fast one over on me. or 2. the belt fell off at that second when the employee shut off the car (assumed since the belt was in perfect condition and if pulleys spun on the belt it would have some damage). After 2 hours of arguing with managment they finally agree they will put thre belt back on as a courtesy. Still waiting, It comes to mind they probabbly dont know how to put it back on correctly. To make the truck run. So, i call toyota again and again a finally get a team member to help. He faxes farm and fleet the directions to put on the belt. About an hour later they put it back on and change the oil. the manager didnt know how to reset the service engine oil light. They didnt even top off my tires. Total of 4 hrs wait. They then have the nerve to charge me full price. Nice store, some friendly people, some good deals, incompetant-shady garage...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSimply tried to get a tire in to be repaired around 8:30 am, have a tube installed first thing Friday morning and they didn't have it done when we were finished shopping. We went into town to finish getting some things we needed. Called to see if it was done when we were going to head home and it still wasn't done but it should be done by 3:30 pm but they would call when it was done. So we work until my friend needs to leave for the day so she can drop me off to pickup my vehicle. I head to Farm & Fleet to pick up the tire and they have closed the service dept at 6:00 even though they are open to 8:00. There are several people still in the service dept so I call Farm & Fleet to find out what is going on and they put me on hold for 6 minutes so I drive to the front and not one person is on the phone trying to get me answers, not one so I asked who is it that is getting me answers when not one if you are on the phone.
The kid up front has NO answers so he gets the assistant manager, a kid to come up front, so he takes me back to the service dept to get answers and he tells me to go in the office and the very person that waited on me that morning asked me how he can help me like he doesn't recognize me and I said I'm here to find out where my tire us and he steps out to whisper to the Asst Mgr. Then the Asst Mgr said they'll get it fixed and set it outside the door in about 10 minutes. Really it took them all day to fix a 10 minute job.
This is as bad as 2014 when we took my Dad's truck in for an oil change and went to grab something to eat. I'd made an appointment because my Dad had taken his truck in there before but when we came back to get it were told they couldn't change the oil because the truck weighed to much. Really!!! The truck hadn't gained weight since they had fixed it before. Why did they make an appointment if they all of a sudden couldn't change the oil!
We won't go back. I guess we'll have to go into Theisen's to get service from now on since Farm & Fleet no longer knows how to service it's...
