Yolo Fruit Stand — Local services in Davis

Ok I stopped here before to buy pistachios which ended up being staIe ughhh. So about month later I figured heck I'd give them another chance no biggie, wrong!! So I came in off the freeway to buy pop and pistachios. At this time I had too pee really bad lol so i asked politely if they had a restroom ummm seemed harmless, wrong again!! I was immediately told customers only and that I need to buy something first. I said oh ok what's good anything on sale, the older gentleman hastlingly replies nothing is on sale here!! Ok now I'm seriously feeling that I was not welcomed here, so as I'm leaving I'm out the door he follows me outside towards my car and I can't believe my ears he told me to go use the restroom somewhere else and he points me to the curb near the freeway. I said look I'm leaving okay but your really starting to bother me now go away I promise I won't ever come back. His reply was good don't come back!! This was very rude and disrespectful I felt like they only care...

Horrid tomatoes and peaches--two of the most basic things to carry, and they were worse than I can buy at the seediest grocery store. The tomatoes were flavorless, mealy, and chewy, some showing mold within a day of purchase. All of the peaches had flesh that was literally brown and of ill texture, despite being on the firm side. They, too, started showing mold after one day. The store has plenty of snacks, many of which show no expiration date, so I was hesitant to try any, although some looked promising (such as the garlic chips), but why risk it? The crowning glory was when the cashier (owner?) tried to cheat me out of $10 change, and seemed surprised when I wouldn't fall for his creative way of counting money.

I always stop here when travelling to the Bay area or Davis. No corn this time,which is my favorite but got a great price on some mangos and there were some fruit snacks that were Off the Hook Yummilicious!!! Tasted quite like the fruit roll ups from when we were kids 'cept these were individually wrapped,about the size of a piece of caramel, although rectangular that I got instantly addicted to. No added sugars.Seriously dangerously addictive, Enjoy at your own risk type things. They have fresh honey and jams and pistachios,oh and the cherries were 1.99 lb. and super good too. Something...
