Wright Bros. Aero, Inc. — Local services in Dayton

Not GA friendly. Expect hanger fees for a piston single that match Teeterboro. The staff are pleasant but not particularly well trained.

We called ahead as a ramp reservation and they parked us out in the outfield of an empty ramp. Fine, whatever. Stayed in town a few days and called to have the plane hangered when the snow rolled in and they advised no hanger room available. Again, no problem. We call in the morning of departure to ask them again if they could get us inside for an hour or two and they told me that they already hangered it: great! Never mentioned that it was $200/night (no fees listed in foreflight or on the website), but again fine, I should have asked. I ask them to pull the plane out for a 2:00 departure and top is off. When we arrive, we are again parked like 1/4 mile away from the FBO.

When I settled up, the total made sense and I figured maybe they knocked a night of hanger fee off for the top off. I go preflight, drop off the rental car, and as I'm walking out the door I get a "hey, you haven't paid your bill yet". $400 later and we were off to fly.

Overall, not a stellar experience. I will not be landing here again...

If your flying with sporting equipment, make sure its packed so a 5 year old can check your bag without damaging your equipment. I tried flying to Florida with some expensive fishing poles and 2 of the 4 were broke badly. I confirmed Wright Bro's Aero is who checked this bag (not TSA) and was obvious poles where broken when crammed back in case (12" section of poles missing). Wright Bros Aero and Allegiant customer service was terrible and nothing was done to reimburse me.

I'm only writing this review because this also happened to my dad when flying a trunk with hunting clothes to Utah and who ever checked his bag out of Dayton International Airport opened a brand new bottle of Baileys and didn't put cap back on before placing back in trunk. If you hunt, you will understand how badly this can mess up a trip when your hunting clothes...

These idiots took an hour and a half doing paperwork causing our American airlines to be delayed and caused the entire air plane to miss their connections. Don't do business with them is you value...
