This has been a nightmare experience all year without a doubt. Today we ordered SIX scoops of rock, received what is maybe 2, if even that, 3 would be pushing it but I’d have accepted that answer. My bill states EIGHT scoops even though the “owner” confirmed on the phone that we only ordered 6. Her attitude has been horrible from the start but I’ve always dealt with it. I have been in customer service for 5.5 years, landscaping for nearly 3 now, and I still can’t stand people that act the way she does. Despite offering solid proof that mulch and dirt we have bought from them (2 scoops!) was MORE then the amount we received, she still refused to acknowledge that someone messed up and chose to continuously argue. Then states she’s been “doing this for 10.5 years”, well congratulations, 2 landscapers, 1 with almost 20 years of experience and one with 28 years of experience both agree that that is MAYBE 3 scoops, along with myself with 5 years of experience. Even separately 2 people who by far have seen more landscape material than she has are positive that is NOT six scoops. I stated I will Probably be paying my bill and discontinuing use, as this is not the first issue we have had. We have had deliveries schedule for 9am and not received them until nearly 10am. We have ordered from them before and told they couldn’t deliver because it was 15.1 miles and they “only deliver 15 miles”. Last year I referred my grandmother for sand for her pool and she was also ripped off, she ordered 8 yards of sand, told them “however many scoops will get me that much is fine”. She came home with enough sand to covered 5.5 years at only 1/2 inch deep which wasn’t near deep enough, and spent another $400 on bagged sand to finish the job because they refused to admit their mistake then either. The straw we have been getting from them this year is absolutely poor quality and not even worth buying from them as it never fails to be sticky and clumpy no matter how hard you try to spread it, it just will not. While addressing these concerns with the owner, who tends to be a little egotistical, her response was “please do, I have been doing this too long to keep dealing with rude people like you”. Mind you I was remaining as professional as possible given the circumstances while she has insisted on raising her voice and arguing, and has no concern for a dissatisfied customer. You’d think she’d make an attempt to atleast discuss the concerns and address them but nope, your concerns are invalid to her because in her eyes their company is perfect and it is absolutely NOT. When I stated I was remaining as professional as possible she responded with “and so am I”, which at no point did I say she wasn’t, despite the fact she wasn’t. (Guilty conscious much?). She had absolutely no concern for any issues with her business and had no interest in discussing how to get more rock, how I could ensure I got the right amount of rock, or even addressing WHY I felt it wasn’t enough. This is honestly ridiculous. This is probably the worst run company ever by far and it’s mostly because the owner refuses to be a responsible one. I would love to continue to do service with them because they are a local small business and we prefer to use local small businesses, but at this point I’m not even sure it’s worth it. We have been made to look professional on far too many instance because we where given poor quality straw, or the wrong amount of rock, or we had to start much later then we where supposed to because we had to wait around twiddling our thumbs for the scheduled delivery to be dropped off despite being past the delivery time. We are now losing money we aren’t making back because we are having to over buy just to have enough. This is honestly ridiculous. They also do not want to hear your honest opinion, & have no intentions of ever addressing any issues or concerns you have. Even when you are willing to provide proof of your concerns they have no intentions of taking accountability. (Mind you that’s 1.5 scoops of dirt towards the FRONT of...

Update: Aug 21.2025: We had their landscaping services yesterday and they did a fantastic job! Will definitely hire them again. In the past we had deliveries of mulch/gravel not knowing that they have a landscaping service as well. Highly recommend their residential services. Their team is excellent!

This place is so fun! And I really mean it! So many options, fun events, and I will only buy my mums from here in the fall. My mother in law has had yard work done by them, and they talked very highly about how great of an experience it was. This spring I got a snowball plant and some hen and chicks from them. Can’t wait to be back this fall for pumpkins, mums, and their stinking cute plant and outdoor decor....
