I purchased a 1/4 of a cow through a family friend processed here. I called to place the order and was my first time using this place. Felt rushed and was not walked through or told options. I asked for 1 1/4 inch steaks they told me the max thickness they could do was 1 inch. So, I chose that. All steaks fell short of 1 inch even and were cut very unevenly. They gave me a filet mignon that was no bigger than my index finger. Packaging was nice and was cheaper than expected. I will not be having them process anything i purchase or personally need done. If you’re looking for price over quality this is your place.

The best I've ever seen!

I normally have always processed my own deer but the last few years I've just been too busy to get it done myself. I am very, very picky about how my venison is cared for after the kill and I heard that Richardson's does a great job from some local hunting friends of mine. I have taken a few deer to them now and I have to say that I am quite impressed with the quality of their process. Besides just normal processing/packing they offer some specialty products like Venison Summer Sausage with Jalepeno cheese and Hunter Sticks. Both of these are outstanding!!! I highly recommend both of these. You can't go wrong with...

Do the math with me, I took 4 quarters from a 2 year old doe that weighed in at 54lbs bone in. They said the bones would account for about 10 lbs. so that would be 44 pounds of grindable meat. When i got the meat back I got 36lbs now even if the bones weighed 18lbs and they add 20% pork to the meat i would have gotten more then 36lbs.. They got quite mad at me when i question them about this.. But 54lbs minus 18lbs for "bone" plus 20% pork would be 43 lbs. I shot a 2 year old doe not a yearling. Not trying to be petty but the math just doesn't add up. I will not be back! I will just make...
