The best I've ever seen!
I normally have always processed my own deer but the last few years I've just been too busy to get it done myself. I am very, very picky about how my venison is cared for after the kill and I heard that Richardson's does a great job from some local hunting friends of mine. I have taken a few deer to them now and I have to say that I am quite impressed with the quality of their process. Read moreDo the math with me, I took 4 quarters from a 2 year old doe that weighed in at 54lbs bone in. They said the bones would account for about 10 lbs. so that would be 44 pounds of grindable meat. When i got the meat back I got 36lbs now even if the bones weighed 18lbs and they add 20% pork to the meat i would have gotten more then 36lbs.. They got quite mad at me when i question them about this.. But 54lbs minus 18lbs for "bone" plus 20% pork would be 43 lbs. I shot a 2 year old doe not a yearling. Not trying to be petty but the math just doesn't add up. I will not be back! I will just make...
