As a vendor i was told only the first 3 rows are reserved but apparently you can put cones anywhere you want and claim your spot. I did not set up in her spot but my rack was a cpl of feet over the cone. I placed the rack next to my table but she was not satisfied. She wanted me to move my tables. Im guessing to close to hers. I was set up 2 hrs before she showed up. It became a very heated situation. Then i call the office to verify if thats true, they send a older man out there that clearly does not want to deal with it. He thinks because he told her to shut up that thats fixing the situation. Then i asked him his name so I know where im getting my info from and he did not want to give it. Is that customer service?!?! No resolution This pic was taking before she ( the vendor)showed up late, which vendors are supposed to be set up by 7. No one around me. All she wanted to do was be a bully and apparently you can do that and get away with it. Maybe thats why theres not as many vendors as years ago? No structure. Do...
Read moreI love the fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, tropical plants, and flea market whatnot available at the Volusia farmers market. Prices are so much better than the grocery store. I enjoy tasting samples of pineapple, mangoes, watermelon, cantaloupe… whatever is in season. Plenty of prepared foods are available also such as breakfast breads, Italian Mozzarella cheese, Middle Eastern dips and pitas, a taco truck, hotdogs and corn dogs, Italian ice, kettle corn Italian sausage, and much more! It’s a great place to bring family and friends visiting Florida, as well as children who will enjoy tasting and viewing a variety of fruits and vegetables. In the summer months, dress for heat, including a hat and sunblock, and plan to get there early, as it is extremely hot. The market opens at seven. In the fall and winter months when the air is cooler, it is especially pleasant to browse eat, and make an entire...
Read moreI can't believe this was my first time going. I've lived in Volusia County for 15 years. I've heard about the market but never made time to go until yesterday. Even with the colder Temps, there were plenty of vendors. Tons of items are really cheap. My favorite part of the market has to be Jersulem Street Food. The pita chips are fantastic, and the dips were so delicious. I suggest doing the 4 for $25 deal. On my way out, I stocked up on fresh veggies and fruit for a steal. The only thing I found bothersome was a display with all the religious crap. We can't go anywhere anymore without someone or some group shoving it down our throats. However, it was all free for those who believe or are in need of that. (See Photo) Otherwise, it's a great place to find unique items and quality produce at an...
