This will make the 4th time I've tried to get into the store 5 minutes before closing and was turned away again ! 5 customer vehicles in park lot, people still waiting to be checked out in the dark and the cashier was even using a flash light because they had turned all lighting inside and outside was turned off @650 a's⁶ I pulled in parking lot and I was met at door by a gentelem@6:53 who had doors locked and keys in the door and would not let me in at 653 but there was still people.shopping and in line.to.check out , but they were in the dark and I told.the.guy it was not 7 and he said according to him.it was! This is the third time.i was refused service about 10 to.15 minutes before closing time and.one time.i.was fortunate enough to get inside before the early closing ritual and I got to see how they look as employees when they are runno g off customers arriving 10 mins Tues before closing time! It's a horrible.business practice and if ur in that big of a hurry to leave then find a new profession! I live 1.6 miles from the store and I had to drive all the way to bloomsburg to lowes for 3 bags of concrete because apparently they make enough money that they can turn people away who are 3 to 4 time a week customer 10 minutes before the posted closing time!...

One year ago I gave Fick's 5 stars. Today I'm being generous by giving them 2 stars. I went in for stain and needed help, but everyone appeared to be busy chatting. One employee was right by the paint dept. and saw me reading each can of stain, but him and a friend were busy solving the world's problems and trying to out do each other in how civic minded they were. I wasn't eavesdropping on their conversation, that's just how close they were to me, but too busy to help me. After about 30 minutes I left and went to Cole's. Got what I needed and was out the door in about 10 minutes. And, the exact same stain was about $5 cheaper. ...

The employees here are so sweet! It reminds me of an old “mom and pop” store from back in the 50s or so (before I was born, unfortunately). I went here when my husband and I wanted a spare pump. My husband sent me the information for the pump and I showed an employee the text of the make and model. The employee took me to where it was, carried it for me to the cash register, held it while we had to wait in line, and then carried it out to my car in the rain! Super sweet. Clean store, love to see old posters and signs...
