My wife and I were looking for a place that we could stay at and rent a SXS for a week. After reading a few reviews we found Local Goat ATV Resort. We booked online about 3 months in advance, I didn’t pay much attention but accidentally booked a cabin Sunday-Saturday instead of Saturday-Friday. Once I noticed I called and spoke to Jordan who was a HUGE help and unfortunately didn’t have any availability for the extra night(no big deal, it was my mistake).

The cabins were excellent! They were clean, fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils and anything you could need while staying. The grill had a full propane tank and was pretty new. The hot tub was very standard but also very clean and we had no issues with it. We’re not the type of people that complain or reach out for little things but Jordan was always making sure we had everything we needed and checked with us halfway through our stay to see if we needed anything.

The SXS was BRAND NEW! We got our machine with 141 miles on it. It was clean, full of fuel, even offered a cooler rental which we opted for so we didn’t have to travel with that as well! Jordan gave us a run down on it and we were off. We ran this machine throughout Buffalo Mountain, Devil Anse and Rockhouse with 0 issues. This was one of our first trips and experiences in a SXS and it surely won’t be our last!

We are from NC and drove over 6.5 hours to stay with Local goat atv and we rented 2 four seater side by sides from them and I tell you it was worth the drive. The cabin was absolutely amazing with a beautiful view and very clean. The owners were so nice and went above and beyond to make our stay the best! The side by sides we rented were very well kept, had GPS, fast and ran great! Very easy access to the Hatfield Mcoy trail head for the Buffalo trail. They are also located a little over 3 hrs from the Ark encounter so we took a day trip to see that also. I recommend trying Local Goat ATV for your next vacation/adventure I promise you won’t be...

From the time I called Jordan at Local Goat, I knew that we would be taken care of. Three months prior to our trip, Jordan took the time to answer all of my questions (and boy, were there a lot). Once we arrived, all of the Local Goat staff were just a breath of fresh air. They know how to provide top notch service, an truly serve their customers! We will most definitely be returning in the near future (already planning a fall trip). We just returned home and cannot wait to tell our family and friends, so they can come next time!
