1st time attending the shrimp festival. Food was reasonable priced and oh so incredibly good!! Along with geat music entertainment to enjoy. Although it was super muddy, it was enjoyable all around! The rides were awesome!! The kids loved them all!! Cajun rides did not disappoint, their rides were super cool and safely structured. & Their family orientated staff was absolutely wonderful! Went to the shrimp festival Saturday 17. Me and my fiancee first time going. I came from Baton rouge. It was a nice ride to delcambre and the little town is nice but the festival was a big disappointment. Food and drinks were good and priced good but the festival itself was not what we expected! There wasn't anything to do for adults except sit around and eat and drink. I can do that at home. Don't think we will be back. We really looked forward to going. Just nothing to do! Wish...

Very enjoyable experience. The Mass & Blessing of the Fleet, meet & greet of the local fishermen, the local people & families willing to include you in their circle of celebration is inspiring.
