They don’t build haunted attractions like the Haunted Pyramids anymore, and that’s a shame, because if they did, they’d be infinitely more enjoyable than they are.
Making your way through four amazing and unique attractions, you’ll discover that dark corners, intricate sets, handmade props, and tenacious actors are far more frightening than the latest big expensive animatronics that lurk around the corners of most attractions. The old-school approach to fear found here is so refreshing as haunts rely more and more on technology to deliver their frights. The actors here take center stage, and boy, do they relish the jobs they have...to scare you senseless!
Everyone here clearly loves what they do, and it shows. The Haunted Pyramids is clearly a labor of love for everyone involved, and that shines through in every interaction you have with anyone you meet. Whether it’s the menacing gleam in the eye of Twisty the Clown as he sizes you up in the midway, or a warm welcome from the owners themselves, the joy you see here is so genuine and infectious that you can’t help but get caught up in it.
The midway here quickly becomes one of the biggest Halloween parties you’ll find anywhere, with lights, fog, and music creating a good-time atmosphere you’ll rarely find elsewhere. It’s a great place to find tasty eats, hang out with friends, or catch your breath in between the frights you’ll find in each attraction - that is, if the monsters who lurk about from time to time will let you!
If you have never been to the Haunted Pyramids, you’re missing out on an experience you won’t find anywhere else. Unbeatable customer service and classic actor-driven jolts come together to form the wonderful vision of two of Horrorwood’s finest mad scientists, and it’s a vision you really need to see firsthand. If you want a night of screams you’ll never forget, a visit to the Haunted Pyramids is just what the...

Read moreMost of the staff are amazing especially staff in the parking lot, gift shop, and the ticket booth, as well as tons of actors. Few issues we had that will make us not return. One actor grabbed a very young boy probably 14 or 15 because he was wearing the extra $5 more scare necklace. What’s the point in the VIP pass, save your money. There billed as 5 haunted houses but the 5th is just a reptile house. No where near as professional as other local haunts. Lake Hickory Haunts, Scary Woods, Woods of Terror, or...
