They don’t build haunted attractions like the Haunted Pyramids anymore, and that’s a shame, because if they did, they’d be infinitely more enjoyable than they are.

Making your way through four amazing and unique attractions, you’ll discover that dark corners, intricate sets, handmade props, and tenacious actors are far more frightening than the latest big expensive animatronics that lurk around the corners of most attractions. The old-school approach to fear found here is so refreshing as haunts rely more and more on technology to deliver their frights. The actors here take center stage, and boy, do they relish the jobs they have...to scare you senseless!

Everyone here clearly loves what they do, and it shows. The Haunted Pyramids is clearly a labor of love for everyone involved, and that shines through in every interaction you have with anyone you meet. Whether it’s the menacing gleam in the eye of Twisty the Clown as he sizes you up in the midway, or a warm welcome from the owners themselves, the joy you see here is so genuine and infectious that you can’t help but get caught up in it.

The midway here quickly becomes one of the biggest Halloween parties you’ll find anywhere, with lights, fog, and music creating a good-time atmosphere you’ll rarely find elsewhere. It’s a great place to find tasty eats, hang out with friends, or catch your breath in between the frights you’ll find in each attraction - that is, if the monsters who lurk about from time to time will let you!

If you have never been to the Haunted Pyramids, you’re missing out on an experience you won’t find anywhere else. Unbeatable customer service and classic actor-driven jolts come together to form the wonderful vision of two of Horrorwood’s finest mad scientists, and it’s a vision you really need to see firsthand. If you want a night of screams you’ll never forget, a visit to the Haunted Pyramids is just what the...

Our visit to the Haunted Pyramids could not have been more fitting as we visited on Friday the 13th and they had Ari Lehman as one of their special guests! Meeting the First Jason Vorhees on Friday the13th? Yes Please! And, he was only one of two guests appearing that night Billy Reddin from Deliverance was also making an appearance along with several metal bands making for an even extra entertaining night. This haunt features several attractions and you get to decide in which order you experience them making for more of a create your own adventure style evening. They were putting people through in smaller group sizes and the groups were spaced enough to where you didn’t really see any other haunt seekers as you made your way through some really original props and scenes. Year in and year out The Haunted Pyramids have been known to bring in more well known Horror guests to make appearances for their fans than any other haunt in the Carolina’s. The show is always solid and our experience at The Haunted Pyramids has always been great. No doubt this attraction is one of the better haunted attraction...

Most of the staff are amazing especially staff in the parking lot, gift shop, and the ticket booth, as well as tons of actors. Few issues we had that will make us not return. One actor grabbed a very young boy probably 14 or 15 because he was wearing the extra $5 more scare necklace. When he grabbed him he made a extreme dirty sexual comment which was very uncomfortable to hear and watch, then he pinned him against the wall. 2nd issue we bought the VIP pass, 2 houses had no lines and the other 2 that did have lines both house employees told us to just stand in the regular line since it’s a short wait, wrong we waited 15 at one and 10 at the other. What’s the point in the VIP pass, save your money. There billed as 5 haunted houses but the 5th is just a reptile house. No where near as professional as other local haunts. Lake Hickory Haunts, Scary Woods, Woods of Terror, or...

Had an awesome time at this place last night! From the first person I encountered in the parking lot (parking lot attendant), to the last person I encountered walking out (the master of deranged psych patient/twitcher), hands down, were the nicest, most welcoming, friendliest, (I don't want to use too many soft words bc this is a haunted house and it was very scary and WELL put together) people that I have encountered since Xmas of '89 🤷🏾‍♀️. Not to mention the music! Wait until you hear the spin they put on ol Garth's, Friends In Low Place. Amazing! I'm still humming that this morning lol. There's food and plenty of entertainment. Enjoy and you will not be disappointed. Well worth the money💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Highly recommend, especially if you have someone in your group who is autistic! We had such a great time! My mom and I took my autistic brother but we weren't sure how he would handle the jump scares, so I asked the actor in the attached picture to spread the word to the other actors to "Go easy on the autistic boy in the Flash t-shirt", and he went above and beyond! Not only did he spread the word to all of the actors and staff members, he actually brought some of the actors out to meet him and then escorted him through the pyramids! We were very touched that everyone was so sensitive to his special needs! Thank you for making sure he had fun by making it not as scary for him!
