I would leave less… but my experience may just be relative to loving my nail salon in Harrison, NY.

I wanted to treat myself so I chose a place with good reviews even though it was a tad more expensive than what I usually pay… and I live in a place where everything is expensive.

It was not clear that the tools used for me were sanitized or new.

The polishes were all haphazard.

My polish was so old that the pedicurist had to add acetone to thin it.

it was to be my daughter’s first manicure. they had assigned her someone. she took a photo from my phone of the design my daughter had chosen. I went to get my pedi snd 10 min later they send my child back to me saying that her person was seeing someone else/ Then a random woman comes over and says “oh does she just want polish?” and Im confused because we had already discussed what we wanted. The woman takes my daughter and my phone. minutes later… I request that my phone be returned to me.

my pedicure was not relaxing at all. He brushed my feet with a brush that would be too rough for cast iron… then he didnt understand when I said… im gonna go see my daughter… no need to put my temp chanclas on… but he insisted and ruined my big toe.

The charged $25 for my daughter’s first mani. the site said… kids mani… $12. I assumed a few bucks more for a special design.

Bottom line. Not that clean. Expensive and not relaxing ergo… what spa?

I recommend this nail salon for cleanliness, efficiency, and using top quality nail products. All of the nail technicians that I have used have been very capable, well trained and skillful. They know their products and speak English well. This is a busy salon for a discerning crowd. I have never seen anyone unhappy, treated poorly, or talked about by the employees. They do an excellent job with liquid gel manicures and you will not find the smell of noxious chemicals here. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here! As soon as I walked in the door I was taken to my pedicure chair and Mike gave me the best leg and foot massage I’ve ever had with a pedicure! He also provided fabulous customer service with helping me carry my bags and shoes to the manicure station. Then Nicole worked her magic and stayed 1.5 hours late to give me the best bridal specialty manicure! She was meticulous with the nail shaping and care of the skin around my nails.
