Booked a tee Time 1 full week in advance over the phone after struggling to online. Spoke on the phone and booked a 12:24 tee time for the following Sunday. Actually July 4th I had friends coming to visit. Show up an hour early to check in and they never booked my tee time after speaking on the phone and them taking my name and phone number. I was so confused after friends and I showed up to play and they said the time was booked to someone else. Ruined 4th of July. As I was trying to wrap my head around the situation asking where my number and info went as it must’ve disappeared into thin air. How do I get a tee time here other than calling and speaking to a human being. As I showed the fellas in the pro shop I had called the previous week at 10:06 am one employee said “YUP! that was me” like he was the one who was working and booked my tee time. I think I understand what happened I’m sure a member needed a tee time and I was the easy one to ditch? I don’t know. Never happened to me before. Safe to say I’ll be...
Read moreThe golf course itself was fun and gorgeous. They unfortunately didn’t have junior rentals (nor are they geared towards junior players), the price was steep for mid-week, both of which weren’t deal killers because the course was great. The staff however (two people in particular, although the rest were delightful) were very rude. They followed us on the course and lectured us twice for not staying in the time cap. The first time we apologized given that we weren’t aware of the timing, and I kept a clock after to ensure we were on track (my father is recovering from a stroke and is an avid golfer, who played with my 13 year old son, who has been taking lessons.) The second time they threatened to kick us off the course (even though we were well under the time cap for each hole.) While I’m sympathetic to their needing to keep things moving, they were remarkably rude and put unnecessary pressure on us. We were looking forward to them golfing together for a year. Either way we...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course from the very start. Drove an hour to Dennis to find out we could only use a golf cart for 9 of the 18 holes due to us teeing off at 11:39am, woman I spoke with in the pro shop did not mention this when booking the tee time. The group ahead of us had 4 golf carts and continued using them onto the back 9 but since we teed off 9 minutes later we weren’t allowed to continue with the cart. There was an employee waiting as we finished 9 and he immediately gave us attitude when we asked to continue with the cart (due to back problems) and he demanded we get out of the cart and start walking. Never in my life have I felt threatened at a golf course but today I did. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone attend this golf course unless you want to be treated worse than poorly. It was unconstitutional what they did today not to mention it was on Veterans Day....
