Colorado Party Rentals was 4 hours late to deliver our rentals, and if it weren’t for our amazing planning team, it could have been a disaster. We rented linens and all our dinnerware from them, so our planning team could not set up any of the reception tables until the rentals arrived. Luckily our arch was rented from a different company, otherwise they would not have been able to set up the ceremony either. CPR was an exclusive vendor with our venue, so it was unfortunate that we did not get to choose a different vendor for rentals. We eventually got some of our order refunded, but I would rather have had a smooth experience on wedding day.

This is what our planning team told us about the experience: When my team arrived at the venue the rentals had not yet been delivered, this was at noon. I called and spoke to Kaylee who said she would contact the driver. Woodlands owner Stephen got ahold of the driver, Demario, who said his ETA was 1pm. Then I was updated that the ETA was 1:30pm, and he was not there. I called again and spoke to Kaylee who said he will be there soon. Then it was almost 2pm and still no rentals so I called back and spoke to Teagan. I was told the delivery would be at 2pm. At this point I requested a delivery fee refund and a percentage off their order. I then got ahold of the delivery driver who told me his new ETA was 2:38pm. I called again and spoke to Kaylee who said Teagan just got approval to offer a 50% refund and a free delivery fee. I expressed my frustration at this point with the lack of communication and the fact that I had to ask for a discount and keep asking for updates. I recently used Colorado Party rentals for my micro-wedding in Longmont, CO. Shout-out to Meghan, our consultant, who did a wonderful job helping us choose what we wanted and achieving our vision with the products they had (which were really nice quality btw!) The entire process was smooth with Meghan, and she was responsive and helped me change our order multiple times before our big day - which was so nice of her. For our interactions alone, I would give 5 stars. However, when it came do the delivery day, I was disappointed in the service. We were given a drop-off window between 7 am and 2 pm. The truck did not arrive until 3:30 pm, and we only received info on the truck's whereabouts after we had called 2 separate times. When I spoke to the receptionist (or whoever answered the call), she wasn't entirely friendly and told me "well, your wedding isn't even until tomorrow." Now, this was true, but we were setting everything up ourselves and would be incredibly busy the day of - not leaving us time to set-up if the rentals hadn't arrived on Friday. I had given the company ample time (and it was written on my order) that I needed the rentals on Friday, not Saturday. Either way, we got the rentals on Friday - just super late. Then, on pick-up on Sunday, we had a pick-up window between 7 am and 10:30 pm because we had to be out of the venue at 11 am. 10:30 came and went and no truck in sight. At this point I called their emergency number and left a message (inbox message said i would receive a call in no more than 30 min and I never did). At 11 am, we had to leave. Colorado party rentals drove all the way from Colorado Springs to buena vista to setup a beautiful Navi-lite clear tent for our wedding. Execution of putting up the tent the day of went off without a hitch, the crew who set it up was very experienced, efficient and accommodated our requests. The crew deserved every dime we spent on the tent rental to be honest. Now, the process of coordinating this tent was a bit tiresome, and frustrating since took a while to get a final plan. We were in a bunch of unnecessary email threads going back and forth on the logistics of the tent which was confusing at times. For example, we were told the tent size we wanted wouldn’t fit in the space we had but after mapping it out on google maps and showing the proof, they backed down and let us put the tent where we wanted. There was also the feeling that we were getting nickel and dimed to death with the constant email updates saying we needed weights instead of stakes among other things. With that said, Bailey was super helpful by offering us a discount on the weights since we were so hesitant.
