My husband booked me a 1hr Swedish massage for Mother’s Day. The masseuse (Erin) was very friendly and nice, but today I am EXTREMELY sore. Since my massage, I have had quite a bit of muscle spasms in my back and shoulders. I know that I have knots and a lot of tension /trigger spots — but she was VERY heavy handed. Some people enjoy that, but I expected a much lighter massage instead of a deep tissue massage. It was not quite as relaxing as I had hoped for. Unfortunately, I felt more tense than relaxed during my session. The room was not as dark as I would have liked it to be. The floor creaked and squeaked any time she moved. I could also hear children downstairs screaming and crying the ENTIRE time. I am a stay at home mom… I just wanted to relax without hearing whining and crying the entire time. I will say that I enjoyed the bed being warm. I also enjoyed that I didn’t leave the salon sticky from the oil. The masseuse did give me a glass of water afterwards which was also a nice gesture. It is just not the “swedish massage” experience that I had...

I normally wouldn’t complete a review but I was sent a text from the business asking me to submit a review. This was my 3rd gel pedicure at Sanctus and it was great, as usual. It was my first gel manicure here and it was not great. The initial work, completed on Thursday, looked good but there was a bubble under my pinky nail causing it to catch in my hair. I went back Saturday and it was fixed free of charge. By Sunday evening 6 of my nails had started to chip at the end of the nail. I called Monday and they scheduled me Wednesday to have a new manicure completed. I didn’t love the removal process of painful grinding and filing the polish off, my last gel manicure was 10 years ago and they soaked the polish off then. In the end the manicure looked beautiful but now it is Sunday evening and the corner of my thumb is chipped. The staff are kind and it was wonderful of them to repair my nails twice at no charge. However, I will return for a pedicure but I will not get another manicure...

Unfortunately had a poor experience for my wedding day. Ended up feeling less important than another wedding they booked the same day. Less staff than promised with no communication. Some supplies not brought that a bride would Want that day. Told it was given all to the other bridal party. Also ended up having to go over finances and prices the morning of my wedding. Also changed staff that I originally trialed with for my wedding day. Requiring me to go over it again with someone different. Paying full price for all of this just seems wrong to me. Sadly I cannot refer anyone as I would never want anyone to feel the way I did. Many other unfortunate things happened. I was told “sorry” and we usually don’t have any problems. I guess that makes my poor...
