I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon at RollerCade Detroit with a group of high school students as part of a week of active lifestyle activities. From the moment I first called and spoke with Kyle about booking the venue to the moment we said our goodbyes, I was blown away by the friendliness, professionalism, and quality of the entire staff. Our group of 25 students had an awesome time skating -- we had a number of first-time rollerskaters, and everyone was into it the entire time thanks to the games we played, the awesome music, and the fun atmosphere. Came to Detroit for a work trip and brought my skates hoping to get rolling again after over a year. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was. My coworker had never skated before so we came early to the Wednesday night session for the included skate lesson which ended up being a private lesson. (Lesson, skate rental and session, all for only $12) Music was great. Staff and other skaters were so warm and supportive. Right away we felt like we were among old friends. I recently had my daughters 8th birthday party at RollerCade and we had an amazing time. The kids and adults who attended all felt the same way. Our host Kyle was so great; he answered all my questions before the party and was a gracious host during the party. The kids and adults ate well, played games and skated the entire time. I didn’t have to do anything just attend my daughters party and enjoy our guests. Parties today are an insane price and you never feel like you can invite everyone due to the cost, but this venue makes it possible to have a private party and not break the bank.
