So I was initially going in here to buy some meat. I had never been here before. Then I noticed they had hot soul food. We had no idea. So we decided to get some hot food instead because the other day we got some from a place we use to love and it was a disappointment. So we got two dinners. I got some Ox tails, mashed potatoes and gravy with turkey rice and gravy. Another dinner with smoked or barbecue chicken macaroni and cheese and corn. Both came with corn bread and a drink. What your looking at in the pic is a little bit of both on both plates. I have nothing bad to say about anything. The chicken was amazing and falling off the bone. Ox tails were perfect. The turkey rice and gravy tasted like Thanksgiving. That's right I said it. I don't even know what it means but that's what it taste like, Thanksgiving.
