I don't like that they don't have prices on everything. I wasted half an hour digging through two rack of coats to find that they had them priced at $18.99 which I think is pretty high for a thrift store. They put signs at the end of the racks but this one said active wear 8.99 so I though the coats were 8.99. It was at check out I learned they didn't have the correct sign up. Despite having 2 racks of coats out. Seems like they were just being lazy not putting prices out. Then I asked them why they don't price their stuff, as only the employee knows the correct price, customers don't. And they were rude in the reply telling me they can't possibly price everything in the store. Nd that I can ask at checkout. I've been thrifting for 30 years and very rarely do I see a store that doesn't bother to price things. So I call BS on that. It's laziness for sure. Are they just making up prices daily per customer? Not sure. But I would think pricing your inventory would be the first priority for retail. Thrift stores will be the next business that disappear because of their high prices and crappy customer service. I'd rather buy directly from other people these days than support such a business. So sad, I used to enjoy being able to buy things on my small budget. Not sure where poorer people will be able to get things like school clothes and household items anymore if this is the new way thrift stores are...
Read moreI'm absolutely thrilled to update my review after having a wonderful encounter with the General Manager at another location! It was such a relief to feel heard and understood regarding my concerns for this particular store. And let me tell you, Daron's sense of humor was absolutely delightful! It's clear that Snow Line Hospice genuinely cares about their customers, and I can't wait to come back in the future to enjoy everything they have to offer and support their amazing cause. A big thank you to the staff who listened to my concerns and took all the right steps to address them today! 10-15-24
I’d avoid this store, the staff they have are very unfriendly. David stated he was the manager and that they don’t give discounts to broken or chipped items. When I asked for a manager he stated he was the manger. I placed my purses on the counter and he said are you gonna pay for the purse? Even though it was clear and you could see my suture inside of it. I asked him if he thought I was stealing it and he said you never know! What a gross thing to say to someone who helps you make your wages. This store is extremely overpriced and the worst one run in the snow line Hospice. Avoid it...
Read moreI used to love coming here when I first moved here in 2020 and now my experience shopping here has compelled gone downhill . They have now raised the prices on everything and opened up their “boutique” which includes overpriced items and a lot of the “good” stuff, that they are trying to keep away from everyone because they are making all those things exclusive by overpricing things for more than they are worth . They raised the prices in everything and have specially priced items now , I saw some golf clubs that they had marked for $35 when in reality they are only worth $20 . They definitely bring shame to what a thrift store is supposed to be . Snowline is supposed to be helping older veterans and the elderly but I don’t want to support a place that has become inaccessible to people who rely on thrifting for clothes and etc . They also took away their point system which tracked your purchases and gave you pinned that you could use for a discount, that was such a huge bummer because it set them apart from other thrift store . I highly suggest going to goodwill down the street for way better deals and finds . Avoid this crusty place...
