January 2022 Up date.
The service has been upgraded and I have been in contact with the owner. They have been working diligently to improve their service. I believe they are working hard to make themselves better. As a small company they are providing better service than Windstream, AT&T, TMobile, and Verizon for our area. The fact that these large companies don't wish to provide services to our area because they don't see it as profitable tells me that Trace is willing to take on a big challenge. I'm now recommending them.
This company is the best IP service in my area (Lakeland), which is not the glowing review you might think it is. The service works well sometimes, at times it barely functions, certainly not enough to stream video. Drop outs and retraining are almost daily occurrences. When you call them during working hours to ask for repairs, it's a coin toss if someone will answer the phone. If you do reach someone on the phone, they are very pleasant and seem to care. Usually however the line will ring about 12 rings before you get an answering machine. I have also texted them with test results I have from my internet speed tests. Once you report the problem that is almost always the last you contact you will have with them. On only 2 occasions has anyone ever called me back. Those calls were to find out if there was something on my router that needed to be checked. All other times I was never advised that they were working on the problem, or when they expected the service to be restored, or that service had been repaired.
I worked in telecommunications for 37 years at Southwestern Bell, AT&T, MCI, World Com, and Verizon. (I stayed in the same job, but the companies kept changing.)    Read moreWorst customer service. It appears that they won’t answer their phone. On the off chance that they do , a really RUDE guy answers and wants to argue. He offers no help and hangs up. If you’re lucky a girl will answer. She’s pleasant but has no answers. She does offer to put in a request that no one follows up on.
Basically, TRACE WIRELESS is terrible and they knew that they have you over a barrel since there’s no alternative.
The only uninitiated response I’ve ever received from them was because I was late on paying my bill. Money is the only thing that the RUDE OWNER cares about.

He explained he could build our own internet tower and it would be about 95-125 ‘ tall with guidelines anchored to steel post buried in concrete. At first I was skeptical, but after exhausting all other options for internet, we went with Aaron and we are sure glad we did. Everything he said was true and he did a great job with the install. We have super high up and down load speeds ranging from 50-90 mbps. It’s solid, uninterrupted and never slows down. It’s truly unlimited.
