Dollar General — Local services in Dillonvale

This Dollar General has recently been remodeled and has fresh produce and a great frozen food selection as well. The store has everything you need now and you don't have to drive 20 Miles to a grocery store for anything now. The store is always clean and well stocked. They do seem understaffed, which causes some attitudes with most workers and that's not acceptable. But all in all Dollar General in Dillonvale is a great place to shop!

This DG is having a hard time keeping the shelves stocked. Not sure why they have such a hard time keeping their employees but it seems the turnover rate at this store is extremely HIGH. This used to be a great Dollar General but it’s slowly declining. It is always clean and most of the employees are very friendly and helpful, but what happened to the freezer section?? I can’t find ANYTHING anymore. Because it’s not in the store. I haven’t been able to buy ice cream in weeks...possibly months even. Someone needs to get down here to Dillonvale and do a little...

Very disappointed with a sale on 8/23/2019. I was outside and had signs posted with the lowest price. There was a garbage can there with 3×5 rugs. Said was $10. and after discounts was $1.00. I was going out with cashier to show where it was posted and out of no where a manager abruptly said .. Where are you seeing the sign for a $1.00. I took him right out there and he said. Oh. No No. That's just for whats in the cart. I said ... that's not fair and he walked away. Upon leaving. I do think he was taking the sign down as I heard another person saying was confusing so therefore I'm not the only one. Being an employee/ manager. The shelves are hardly stocked anymore, when I stop in. Sucks because it's the closest store in town. But I under stand why it's hardly. It's because the DM doesn't care to help out. They can only give their employees a certain amount of hours, and constantly being pulled up front, not being able to actually stick the shelves. Plus no, properly trains you, it's a mess.
