BAD, SAD & POOR 1st. time Experience let me put It quick: I was a new hire that got wrongfully discharged I got suspended on my birthday 06-28-2018 cause of another co worker supposedly threaten another co work so I don't know anything about this but was told was getting suspended for that I told HR Rep. Marilyn that I didn't do anything!!! Marilyn in HR Rep then asked me to write a statement as well so I did then I told her I should be writing a grievance against that co worker cause the day before he was picking on me and didn't pass me any product told my supervisor David P. he didn't do nothing but move me so I went higher and told the Superintendent he then told me that I was getting moved so I wouldn't get hurt so I agreed and went back to work was moved but this one co worker bossed the higher ones he turned me in for something I never did or said or even happened I think they didn't do nothing about it cause I was a new hire then they told me FEEL FREE TO REAPPLY IN 2 WEEKS!!!! I WENT TO THE UNION and made a statement they then called said they wasn't going to get me back well that's wrongfully termination & No one helping me out that im a new hire plus first time in knife & I reached out first even talked to superintendent how this co worker had picked on me the day before and they made it sound like it was just one bad day and tomorrow was going to be better but was wrongfully discharge 07-03-2018 Marilyn told me Im a new hire I can get fired for anything in front of the Union Rep as well then 07-05-2018 Union called me and said to reapply next week well I really don't think its fair this one co worker can say things that wasn't true & I lose out 2 weeks of pay cause of this lie a co worked decided to say upon his self I'm a mother of 5 Boys I really don't think it's fair to them either!!! If I reapply & get hired I would be scared cause they believe lies but as for me im a mother of 5 as I said and a Dedicated hard worker and need money coming in so I might have to if it comes down to it but then I will fill I failed but like it is said two wrongs don't make a right so I will hold my head high and know I didn't do that or say anything to this co worker man to get discharge and no page I will work my hardest and prove cause I know I am better then that!!!!! Have a CNA getting Med Aide might take RA class but have worked odd jobs cause dedicated to get my family ahead and good at working fast learner & positive that's why I said bad and poor 1st time experience cause what don't kill you only makes you stronger! all reviews are absolutely correct but today my review is different than others and it is warning to foreigner company drivers here is the thing my load was supposed to be ready between 12/27/24 @0000 to 12/28/24 @0200 in the morning so I was keep calling their phone number 620-338-4225 that was security guard where we usually called to check load status they also keep telling me that my load was not ready okay and I keep checking the same time through their web site until 12/29/24 around @0800 in the morning until that the load was not ready okay after one hour I check through load status web site and it said that the load was ready on 12/28/24 @1500 imagine I was keep calling them and check their load status website and I went their to pick up and I was at the right side gate to check in and one of the old lady came to me from the right side guard house and she asked me my pick up number I gave her and she went to the left side guard house to bring my trailer number but she did not back right away just like other time she took few minutes that was unusual so right away my mind told me that they are gonna mess me up I knew that they are going to tripped me few minute later that lady came back and she said that she doesn’t know why today she got hard time to see that was absolutely lie she just made it deliberately to pretend what she said is true and she brought my trailer number which is not my trailer I got confused but I took that trailer number and picked’m up and went for check out and I parked at the gate went to their office for pepper work after I signed one of the crew told me to follow here at the back of the trailer and she cut the seal and told me to opened the trailer door and I opened and I was seeing her this lady also checking unusual activity I was here every time I have never see such horrible things when check in and check out then the lady said that the left side trailer is little damage and she said that they are not going to let the trailer out so I knew that from the beginning they are gonna tripped me so the lady was held different seal which is brown in color and she put that seal and told me to drop it where the empties are. if they are not doing that deliberately the lady supposed to go back to the office bring brown seal but she already have’m on her hand .you see they already choose me to mess up my time so what I am gonna tell the drivers specially foreigners make sure you got the trailer# from your dispatcher if they change your trailer number don’t leave that gademn check in gate call your dispatch to make sure the trailer is correct yeap they are unlike the drivers I have been waiting this...

I am an ex USDA FSIS inspector for 5 years. Recently I had applied for National Beef Dodge City in September. I went through all of the hiring process, the usual jumping through the hoops, I get hired on September 18th just get be discharged on September 20th because the HR manager was told by the USDA supervisor that he had fired me and that I lied on my application. I find it disturbing that this company is allowing a third party to dictate how they run their business and how they would allow someone to bend their arm just to fired one of their new hires. So I applied and was hired on by PSSI, a sanitation service contracted by National Beef to clean the facility after the shifts were done. Unfortunately I was let go again not even 2 days on with the crew due to the same conflict of interest. I had resigned from the USDA just last June of 2022, with forms proving that I was never "fired" by the agency. As well as leaving on good terms. Also I was 8 hours away working in Arkansas, so how was I fired from a person 2 states away? National Beef, I feel has failed with their equal opportunity rights as a company for not throughly checking the facts of any individual applying with high hopes of joining a successful company. I feel this is a wrongful termination. With my rights being violated by my past employer in cahoots with this establishment, I am now going through hardship and an extremely high amount of stress. Its despicable that this kind of act is being allowed all over at all kinds of work facilities. And I urge that no one should waste their time with National Beef, unless you're willing to allow others to take over and dictate your well being. National Beef equals unfair place to work.
