Red River Farms is such a treasure, but it’s not a hidden treasure! Its location is right off the expressway. Try the spinach from here. Better tasting than any high quality spinach I’ve tried from grocery stores, and it’s free on certain days. My girls love coming here and that’s because one of them isn’t the “outdoorsy” type, but she enjoys taking her time as she picks her own bag of greens. A great upcoming family-owned vegetable farm. Easy to locate, right off the frontage road. New to the pick your own vegetables they also had venders selling flowers and other goods. Very nice addition. They also have games for the children, music and food for sale. Certain days, they hold a free day for certain items. By far the worst experience dealing with the owner very unprofessional. Sod was scheduled for Thursday pick up was delayed approx 7 days later once we picked up the sod after struggling communication with owner Nikolas (very rude/ bad mannered).
