There are not enough positive words I can say about this furniture store. The furniture itself stands alone on its own merit, but it is the people here that make the experience truly enjoyable. There is no "if" you should go here there is only "do". They have the best furniture and the absolute best staff. They are truly here to meet your needs and wants. If you have ideas of design elements then share them and work with them. If you have absolutely no idea as to what to do with either styles or furniture pieces then they will plan it for you. Although fabrics abound in this store, it is the personal touch and customer service attitudes that flows through every staff member there that makes them the best.
A special thank you to:
Joel: Servant leadership at the highest level. Teresa: Customer service to the absolute highest level. You will be missed and we all wish you well in your move. Suzanne: You have made the moving experience enjoyable. You are a treasure to work with as well as an upstanding graduate of the correct school. :) Thank you for holding our hands through this process.

Read moreThe Touch of Wood is a local furniture place in the city I live in. I, on numerous occasions, have went into the touch of wood with the intent to purchase furniture. I tried to buy a Norwalk sofa ($3000) and a Kincaid dinning table ($1400). I didn't buy either of these items from this store due to finding a better deal else where but both times I gave them the opportunity to give me a better price. I would love to buy local but I will not do so at the amount it would take. (A difference of $700 altogether) I once again went to The Touch of Wood to try an purchase a set of Kincaid dinning chairs (~$1400). I had gotten a price from a competitor and I wanted to see if they could match the price. They indeed matched the price. However, while my wife and I were discussing whether we wanted the Kincaid chairs or another brand that we saw at another local store, the owner came up and told us that we either needed to buy the chairs from him or not use his showroom to go buy them from someone else. I found this to be very rude and poor customer service. This is a tremendously poor way to treat customers. I'm not sure how you take this but I hope this will let you make an informed choice of where to purchase furniture...
Read moreThis is my first experience in buying High Quality Furniture for myself. And I would not shop anywhere but The Touch of Wood. All of looking and Changing my mind between what I wanted and what I thought I wanted, they were so kind to let me just keep it up. Joel, Cheryl and Suzanne. My Couch, Chair and Media center are perfect for the kind of style I have. They didnt mind my crazyness when I got my Media center and called almost in Tears because I was so happy with it. Such beautiful furniture and such great people to work with. Even the Delivery gentleman were courtious and nice. I will be shopping there again and have even gotten my mother to start looking for some peices also...
Thank you so much Touch of Wood for making my shopping experience...
