Horrible Customer Service from the manager. So before I placed my order online I called in to see what the product was cause I didn't understand the term "ground" so I asked if it was shake or was it actual buds. The employee said no it's not shake. So I said "ok", that didn't really answer my question cause what I really wanted were nuggets of weed not the residue. So I asked again but this time I said "is it actual nuggets of weed, like is it buds of weed?" She said it's ground. I'm like, ok I'm guessing it's what I'm looking for. So I said thank you and placed the order. I was in a rush to get back home cause I had to get ready for an appointment so I went in grabbed what I placed an order for and went home. When I gave it to my significant other they noticed the bag was flat and didn't open it cause the bag was still sealed and clearly it's not something we wanted. So I didn't want to ruin the chance of an exchange for what I actually want. Mind you I'm 40 minutes away. So I called and explain myself. Employee tried to stand her ground and pretty much not offer me any help and transfered me to the manager they kept me on hold for like 10,15 minutes I guess while they figured out how to handle this situation. So manager decided to get on the phone and pretty much offer me no help tell me I'm screwed and that her employees are trained so I'm the wrong one ect. Then after 20 minutes of back and forth she decides to mention how she could have offered me maybe a future discount. She should've just started of like that instead making the customer feel stupid or robbed for their money. The money was not really the concern it was more the way she handled the situation. Ended up going to DDM Cannabis and got what I really wanted from the beginning. It's sad cause I really liked the place and I was there every 3 days faithfully but they lost me as a customer unfortunately. I've given Capital Cannabis many chances, and like their products, but the customer service — particularly from the owner — has been consistently dismissive and rude.
During my most recent visit, I politely tried to ask a question and show a photo of my battery because the cartridge I was sold last time didn’t fit. Instead of listening, the owner snapped that she was sick and had a fever, then brushed me off and insisted the cartridge “should fit, it's universal” When I calmly explained that it didn’t, she doubled down instead of offering any real help.
To be fair, she did end up not charging me for the a new battery, which I appreciated — but when I got home, the new battery and cartridge combo still didn’t work. I’d like to go back and get the issue fixed, but honestly, I’m not up for what could turn into another uncomfortable or confrontational experience.
I even told her I was sorry she wasn’t feeling well, but that it wasn’t fair to take it out on customers. Her response? Complaining that her staff didn’t show up — and then making unnecessary comments about me wearing a mask. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing to witness from a business owner.
Looking back through other reviews, I see I’m not the only one who’s had bad experiences with her attitude. It’s disappointing because the products are fine, but the way customers are treated here is unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I’d caution others to read the reviews before deciding to shop here. Filter the Google Reviews by "Lowest Rating" and you'll instantly spot a trend.
For as busy as they are at times, you'd think she'd be grateful for every customer that walks through the door. Unfortunately, that's not the case, and it's not just me!

Read moreSometimes you run into a store along your travels that surprises you, this is that store. New everything from the perfectly paved parking lot to the smiles of employees waiting to serve you. It's hard to gauge sales employees at dispensaries because of one simple point, they all believe the job was created especially for them. Even knowing that they weren't after the sale as most places are, you go at your pace and when you're ready so are they. Very relaxing environment crafted to welcome, seating and music close by. The place is spotless and very organized plus the menu is exactly what you wanted others stores to have, neat and legible. There's are some strains I haven't seen close by which is refreshing (try smelling that lemon diesel so fresh it haunts your sinuses) and plenty of non bud options to try over the next 5 or 6 visits. Sadly many businesses lost that "catered appeal" that old fashion one on one patience that made this country so wonderful to be a part of, Capital Cannabis strives to keep that alive while staying up to date on all of its inventory.
