Dover Meats — Local services in Dover

Went through Heusel Acres for a quarter cow. They used Dover Processing to process the cow and our meat. Had a wonderful experience with both Heusel and Dover.

Dover Processing staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. This was our first time with this process and they made it easy and answered our questions. Also purchased a few other items like bacon, meat sticks, ext. Have not tried the raw yet, but the meat sticks were delicious and the specialty bacon looks amazing. Prices are cheaper than what I've seen in grocery stores for better quality cleaner meats. All our meat was labeled and packed well. We also received the paperwork listing all items included which was super helpful.

Would 10/10 recommend for both processing and picking...

Can't say enough good things about this processor! The products and service are outstanding! Worked with Geoff, the Manager, over the phone to process a whole hog and then met him in person last week. He was extremely nice, honest and generous with his time explaining their process and made product recommendations. They are obviously dedicated to providing superior customer service and quality products. We purchased a variety of meat items and so far everything is wonderful! Highly recommend Dover...

Took a whole Black Angus Cow in and got 2 Ribeyes and 5 T-Bone steaks!! What a JOKE!! These people are the biggest co-artists in all of Southern MN!! It was all garbage. Tasted like I was eating an old shoe. The Black Angus that I took in was a 1250lb cow. It should have been the best steak. But I got an old Holstein back.
