Oddity TV and Sound — Local services in Doylestown Township

Just bought a 65" Vizio along with a sound bar and wanted to have it installed on our wall above the fireplace. I had originally had an appointment scheduled to have Geek Squad do the installation, but my wife found Oddity TV and Sound on Google and we called for an estimate which was less than the quote we had from Geek Squad. John scheduled our appointment for 11/28 and arrived right on time and explained in detail exactly what he would be doing. John's installation and communication was excellent, but it is the extra attention to detail and service that John offers that sets him apart. Our surround system had never been properly calibrated so John then went thru the seemingly endless sub menus to find the calibration setting and adjusted the sound to be perfectly balanced between the 5 speakers and it sounds amazing. Most impressive to me was the fact that our WiFi signal is weak and John asked where our modem was located which was upstairs, so he then unhooked the modem, reattached the TV in the spare bedroom directly to the cable source, and reinstalled the WiFi modem next to the television, all for no additional fee. I can guarantee you that kind of service would not be provided by a big box installer without a considerable additional charge. I have already given John's information to a coworker and highly recommend John and Oddity TV and Sound to all thinking of having their television and sound systems...

I am not one to write reviews and I rarely contract any work out at my home as I handle most of it on my own. However I knew I was outmatched on this project. From my initial phone call with John where he explained the process to the completion of this project, John was awesome. He actually showed up earlier then expected and completed the job under budget. I reside in South Jersey and was having a difficult time finding a competent contractor to install my TV above a stone fireplace. I reached out to John in hopes he would travel to New Jersey and within an hour he replied and stated that he would. Within the next few days the job was complete and looks incredible. Its good to know that their are still companies out there that deliver exceptional customer service and Oddity TV is definitely top-notch in my book. I can’t say enough good things about John. He installed 3 TVs and two sound bars for us and all the installations were absolutely perfect. All three TV installations presented unique challenges bc of the make up of the house, but he had really intelligent solutions for all. He’s an absolute pro.

John was a night ago day difference from the guys I hired a few years ago to install. Those guys made my wall look like Swiss cheese with all the holes they put in. But not John. He took the time to measure, and got the TVs and mounts positioned perfectly.

He fished the wires and the installation is completely seamless. Looks stunning.

He also linked up all the TVs, programmed the remotes, made sure everything was working properly and even swept up afterwards.
