I recently played at The Links Golf Course, and I can confidently say it was one of the best golfing experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the course's cleanliness was impeccable. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and every green, tee box, and fairway was in pristine condition. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into making this course look its best.
The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure that I had everything I needed from start to finish. To top it off, the owners themselves came by to introduce themselves. They were personable, passionate, and genuinely invested in ensuring every golfer has a great experience. Their hospitality really stood out and made me feel like a valued guest.
Now, let’s talk about the course itself—yes, it’s challenging! You’ll probably lose a fair number of balls, as the course design demands precision and strategy. But trust me, it's well worth it. Every hole presents a unique test, and by the end of the round, I felt like I had improved as a golfer just by facing its challenges. It’s a tough course, but that’s what makes it so rewarding.
If you're looking for a course that offers both beauty and a serious test of your golfing skills, The Links is the place to be. I'll...
Read moreThere's a sign when you walk from the parking lot to the pro shop: "Welcome to Scotland." This links course outside Driggs, ID might remind some of Scotland; there are even some gnarly gorse-like plants to contend with if you wander from the fairways. It was windy the day we played it, so again Scotland comes to mind. For the long hitters the course is short but it's really a second shot golf course. The greens are well protected and you better have the right club in hand; getting the ball up and down if you miss the green is a challenge. And the course will show its teeth if the wind is blowing.
We drove over from the Jackson Hole side of the Tetons - the course is about an hour's drive from downtown Jackson. Why anybody would pay the high end resort course green fees on the Jackson courses when you can play a really fine course only an hour away for one-fifth the cost is one of life's mysteries. Many might cite the undeniably beautiful scenery on the Jackson side but the views here are stunning, too. Don't expect much in the way of amenities - no fancy clubhouse - but the pro shop has everything you need and the staff is friendly. If you're in the Jackson Hole/Southeastern Idaho area, the Links at Teton Peaks is highly...
Read moreGreat golf course for sure. I will be playing here again. The maintenance of the course itself is phenomenal, especially given the cost to play. You get a lot for your money here. To have such green fairways in tee boxes this late in the summer is awesome for roughly $40 (with their pay online discount). The facilities are where you see the price you pay a little more justified. The drive and cart paths aren’t paved. Not a huge deal to me. They were well maintained to be fair. Not much for food at the pro shop but they’ve got hot dogs & beer and that’s really all you need for 18 holes. Pace of play was great. Moving from Utah to Idaho every course I’ve played so far has been way too crowded. Slows pace of play and people treat golf traffic like car traffic. It was refreshing to have better spacing like my old home course. Keeps pace of play and makes it more enjoyable. Our group finished 18 holes in about 3 1/2 hrs. We did get to speak with the owners and they were great people. You can see their personality in the course and that was cool. Overall great place to play. It’s hard to go wrong with a view...
